What is the one item in your wardrobe that you couldn't live without?

Mine is the black vest top. I have all variations, strappy, wide straps, shorter, longline. I pretty much always wear a layered look, and they are the tight first layer which helps to smooth everything over. I will then have an oversized top/jumper over the top, plus scarf etc on my top half. If I run out of my vest tops before the dark wash goes on I feel anxious and don't know what to wear.

What is your absolute must have?

Hush PJ bottoms I have about 8 pairs and wear them literally all the time I'm in the house. I'd part with any of my clothes before I'd part with them.

But for actual clothes, probably skinny jeans or sloppy cashmere jumpers.

My fine knit long line jumpers. Great for the office where it's hot enough to grow tomatoes, flattering because they skim rather than cling and stop at the top of the thigh rather than cutting you in half on the waist, long sleeved without adding bulk.

Obviously it depends what's underneath - I live in jeans so these are an essential - but mine is my AllSaints Bales leather jacket. Not too jangly bikery, soft, fits like a glove yet goes over a jumper, and makes me feel instantly cool!
