I'm getting married in August and will have three bridesmaids. I'm considering using these style of dress with them as they can style them as they wish. Has anyone any experience with them at all? I've been shopping around and will order a few to check material but wondered if anyone else had used them?

Thank you: I'm finding planning my wedding so much fun at the mo and really appreciate advice I've already had on here. I've got my dress just need to sort them lol

What's an infinity dress? And have you asked the bridesmaids for their opinions?

I've never seen one I'll but I'd be amazed if theyre as easy to do as they claim

I like bridesmaids with a theme but not the same dress though, but I'd do it by using a dress maker to make proper dresses to suit each woman

they don't work well for anyone who needs to wear a bra! I presume you mean the two birds type

I think they are ok if the person wearing it has a perfect figure. You also need to invest in a good qualty gown as cutting corners on this design looks awful.

We tried them on for my friends wedding they are not as easy as they look! It all depends how good at putting them together you are one lady fitting us was useless big gaps they looked horrible the other one was amazing those girls looked lovely! we had a quick play around but decided against as it was a skill we didn't seem to have 😂 If you can do them I think they look really nice though 😃

I had a maternity one as a wedding guest. They're an absolute bugger to tie as they then to untie themselves without warning. I also needed to discreetly pin it at the cleavage in the cap sleeve version.

nickname it's a dress that can be styled in different ways - have a google. And yes my bridesmaids are very much up for the idea.

They are all tall and very lean - one is a dancer and the other works in theatre so they're both very fit. He other is a beanpole lol. They'd pull these off - one of them would look good in a bin bag. I'm going to send them to them and let them play around. My issue is they live at opposite ends of the country so fittings and such would be bloody tricky so I'm trying to work with them.

My bridesmaids are wearing them.
Debenhams sell them (in various colours), they have a boobtube with them.

They're pretty easy to use the different shapes and styles.

I had tall lean bridesmaids and they looked fab in them. Elegant they only really need to be fitted for length and the two birds ones can be cut as opposed to hemmed. There are loads of tutorials online as how to tie them. Bra less or strapless backless and lots of tit tape!

My (slim) friend has one and looked great, you say your BMs are slim so should be OK, I and many others would not!

Thanks all. The girls love the idea and I'd send them to them to play around with. There seems to be varying quality lol! At present I have just ordered some dresses from asos that are in the sale that I liked previously so we shall see. Thank you for your input, I have skinny Minnie nieces, whereas I have a four month old baby lol. I'm not doing too badly (back on old jeans) but am definitely thicker round the middle and could never pull one off. I've already got mine Smile

This was the first thing I made when I bought a sewing machine - I'd never sewn before so it wasn't the greatest thing ever, but i found it fairly easy to make the different styles.

I'm sure a properly made one would be even easier

My bridesmaids had the two birds dresses, each with the boobtubr which 2 out of the 3 wore.
They looked lovely, I had 2 in one colour and my maid of honour had a different colour. They were expensive though.

Two birds may be out of my price range lol but I at least have a good standard to look for Smile
