need a good boned undergarment for strapless wedding dress

Hi.

Can anyone recommend a good shop or website to get proper structural underwear from?

I have a strapless wedding dress and want a boned corset / basque to go underneath to keep me in and hoik my boobs up (I'm an F cup) I'm struggling to find anything in the web that isn't corsets designed as sexy and or outerwear and thats not what I'm looking for. I want something flesh coloured that's up to the challenge ie actual functional foundation wear.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I saw these at the wedding shop I bought my dress at but as my dress had boned corset anyway, which did the job with my G cups, I didn't see the need for additional scaffolding underneath!
I have never seen anything like that in an ordinary lingerie shop so maybe you will have to bite the bullet and get one from a specialist wedding shop? It will be ££ but assume they will be able to alter as required so that it fits like a glove? Rigby and Peller here but still quite ££.

Personally I'm not a lover of most basques as they are generally plastic bones which means they bend and buckle and generally aren't that comfortable.

I would suggest a good strapless bra and an underbust corset with steel boning, or an overbust corset if you can find one which is a good fit (which might be troublesome for an F cup). I ended up having an overbust custom made for my wedding.

Orchard corsets do lovely underbusts - there's a longer length extra curvy version which is good if you have a large hip to waist difference or, well, a tummy! Bra wise I would look at the Wonderbra Ultimate Strapless, the Curvy Kate Luxe, Panache Porcelain or Freya Deco Strapless.

Thanks both. They are going to add additional boning in the dress which might be enough but the woman in the shop did say they might have to add straps if it isn't, and I really want to avoid having straps added so thought I'd try and find some really good steel boned underwear. I shall have a look at your suggestions

what Katie did have fuller bust corsets and underbusts also merry widows and waist cinchers. Designed as underwear and available in sensible peach colour.
