Workwear for tropically heated building

Recently moved job. I work with young children so I don't want to spend too much money and clothes need to adhere to the can't see up/down/through it rule.

The only problem is that my new school is heated like the furnaces of Hell. I have never been so warm in all my life and I'm quite sweaty anyway.

I'm usually a tights, boots, dress, cardigan sort of person. I'm struggling to find dresses with sleeves which won't make me sweat or which aren't ridiculously fussy and flouncy.

I work in an office that is the temperature of the sun. Cropped trousers and Bretons are my usual uniform with ballet flats or stilettos.
