If you were getting married in this dress

How would you have your hair ?

I have very long ginger hair and I don't know what to do with it for the day. I don't think I want an up do.

What do you think would look good with this dress ?

That is beautiful!

What about a low "up do": if you put that into Google, there are all sorts of soft and fairly informal hair styles, on the nape of the neck or over the shoulder?

Show off amazing long hair! Don't have one of those awful rollers and hairspray bridal hairstyles. You don't want the groom to think he is the wrong place.

How about a half up half down style? There are some pretty ones in this link.

What Snork said!

Oh I'd so love to have red hair!

Dress is utterly beautiful. Half up-do, loose curls would be my choice Smile

I would probably go for something similar to one of the hairstyles the character Christine had in the film version of Phantom of The Opera.

Stunning dress by the way!

What a beautiful dress!
I could imagine hair in a loose braid with flowers going through it.

You have long AND ginger hair- I'm jealous

That Doctor from Greys looked amazing in her outfit/hair- was she called April?
have found photos

Blimey that dress is absolutely beautiful!

I think it would be a shame to have your (lovely sounding) hair down as it would take away from some of the dress detail. I love the braid style that under posted ^^, but basically I think a natural looking 'up do' that gathered towards the base of your head would look gorgeous.

I see my hair as being my defining feature, which is why I am not so keen to have it in an up do, but I'm not totally opposed to the idea.

I was thinking of something along the lines of these styles, just not sure if they will suit the dress. I'm bloody clueless !

If I were to have it down, id probably do as in the last image and keep my hair off my chest, as to show the neckline of the dress.

I think that looks gorgeous, if your hair's your thing (and it sounds fabulous) you should show it off at your wedding.

I'd go for something like Fuzzy's last pic

OP your dress is absolutely gorgeous!

As for your hair I really like the last 2 pics, not keen on the first one

You're dress is gorgeous and out of the photos above I would go with number 3.

Congratulations.

Your dress is beautiful, couldn't you trial a few styles? I like the last choice you pic, something beautiful in it's simple elegance. Wishing you all the best Flowers

I think I like the third style best too, but instead of the hair piece I'd probably have some babies breath run through it ?

And thanks for the dress compliments, I absolutely love it. Don't look quite as fab in it as the model does though Blush

Lovely dress! Mine had a very similar top but a different bottom half. I went for up as my hair is fine, but for lovely thick ginger hair, up and half down would be perfect and yes, as you say keep your hair behind your shoulders and off your neckline to show off that area!

I would opt for the third picture too, making a delicate feature of the babies breath running through at the back.
Gorgeous.

I forgot to say how I love the neckline and sleeves of your wedding dress. Time to bring them back imo (I've seen enough sweetheart line gowns, they are all much the same). Why blend in when you can stand out! 😎
I think keeping your red hair down at the back will add to the romance of the day and your elegant dress. Congratulations Flowers
