L'anza hair trauma or alternative?

After some lovely encouragement from mumsnet I've decided to have a drastic colour change and I'm really excited. The hairdresser has mentioned hair trauma (l'anza) - has anyone used this? How was it? My hair is dry and I have to take care to keep it in condition.
Any other similar recommendations for slightly curly / slightly dry hair?
