Pregnant, put on weight am I a hopeless case?

I'm 14 weeks pregnant and having a style crisis. It's my second pregnancy and in both I have been continuously starving in the first few months and ballooned in weight which is making me miserable. Pre pregnancy I was a 10-12 5'7 and whilst maybe I wasn't hugely on trend had a sense of style and took pride in dressing nicely. Now I just have no idea how to dress a bmi of 25. I realise I'm not prohibitively fat but my usual style doesn't work - plus clothes are too small.
I have quite a few jojomamanbebe bits from last time and 2 nice frugi dresses from the sale. My main issue is it is all a bit mumsy. I would love to look just a bit more edgy/cool etc. I did try some stuff last time from jjmb that I thought was a bit edgier but transpired mini skirts whilst pregnant are not a good look if you are a bit of a heffalump.
I had skinny jeans from h&m and jjmb which looked good if standing still but felt like they were slopping down my bum all the time. Ended up mostly wearing boot cut from jjmb which I'm aware was not a great fashion move but they stayed up and were comfy.
I am grateful for any suggestions to look a bit more stylish. Problem area is tummy plus even the bit above tummy below waist my whole core just looks so thick from the side. I have reasonably broad shoulders but quite slim arms, not particularly big boobs so shirts are good. I think front on chest upwards looks reasonably slim - all weight has gone to the middle!
Pictures or specific suggestions really welcome. Also what is a real mumsy no no. Think I have spent so much of the last few years looking at maternity clothes that I'm starting to loose my mumsy alert.
I'm not in the UK so can't just order and send back tonnes of stuff. I also tried on some of my sisters clothes last time as she is bigger than me. Just ended up looking like I was wearing too big clothes on top which clinged badly to the bump! Any suggestions for clothes that can be sized up?

Do you have access to Cos? I wore loads of Cos when I was pregnant. (Still do). Black leggings, ankle boots and some sort of vaguely directional knit / dress.

I think waterfall cardigans would be my number one thing that makes people look mumsy. Breton stripes are a bit of a cliche too but they're just generally ubiquitous.

Thanks I've never heard of cos but seen it a few times browsing the boards. Will have to have a look.
When pregnant first time and browsing maternity clothes I saw waterfall cardigans and instantly discounted them. This week I found myself looking at them thinking 'hmm maybe I should get one' oh god things have gone seriously downhill the last few years.

I would pintrest any celebs who dress in a way that you like and then copy outfits based loosely on what they are wearing iyswim, then pick a maternity version.

Top shop have some nice bits...they have over the bump jeans which were like hens teeth during one of my pregnancies. Once we got past winter I used to put on a non maternity jacket and wear it open to give my arms and back a bit of shape.

New look have loads of cheap choice and possibly some outfit ideas, as does ASOS .

H&M over bump skinny jeans were amazing in my last pregnancy. They were so comfy and never fell down. Actually most of my maternity wear came from there. It's difficult at this time of the year as its so cold, I wore the jeans, striped top-not necessarily maternity but H&M boxy style one, with longer chunky cardis. Then a warm coat. As a PP mentioned once the weather warmed up a bit I could get away with blazers and a biker jacket I already had pre-pregnancy. Think about what you'd normally wear, look for similar or adapt what you have-for example, plain maternity tee under an open shirt or something along those lines.

I got some nice bits from Vertbaudet in my last pregnancy. Not exactly edgy, but a bit less 'mumsy' than JJMB, etc.

Thank you for the tips. I had a good browse online then went into town and got some good basics jeans, leggings, plain black tops. Also got out my mat clothes from last time (plus bits I picked up in sale pre pregnancyBlush) and realised I do have more flattering clothes than I thought.
One problem is I don't really know what my usual style is any more. Really struggling with putting on weight and just feeling fat. Looking online is a temporary lift as I get inspired then realise the simple looks that are stylish on models don't necessarily look good on me.
When younger and thinner my style was a bit quirky but things that looked good when I was 10 years younger and a stone lighter can look awful now - and dated I'm not particularly good at following trends.

I know very few people who are stylish in pregnancy. A safe bet is to stick with neutral basics, I think. Plenty of time for being stylish again when you're not growing a baby.

I hardly bought anything maternity wear wise. I think some H&M jeans, some black trousers from Topshop and some maternity leggings from ASDA. Wore with baggy knits, jumper dresses, oversized shirts etc I already had. Zara does loads of nice unfitted / floaty stuff.

Topshop and H&M do nursing tops etc too so maybe if you're planning to breastfeed you could get some multifunctional bits?

I know lots of people say they don't buy specific maternity clothes but I have found them to fit better particularly later on. I've tried to make the clothes I do have work as long as possible, stretchy harem pants were great last time for summer when I was big but not huge but I try not to buy anything non-maternity that I wouldn't wear afterwards as I'm not sure long it would be suitable. Also I had barely enough time to go backwards and forwards from maternity section to changing rooms without browsing the rest of the shop!
