Best cream/hot cloth cleanser on a budget?

I'm looking to cut down on my spending for the next few months and I'm looking for a dupe for my favourite cleanser (A'kin Rose and Geranium cleanser) and just can't find anything that is as good or smells as lovely. I've tried various ones - Liz Earle, No 7, Superdrug etc. The No 7 one is nearly as good, but I do prefer the A'kin one.

Does anyone have any recommendations I may not have tried - that are cheaper than £16 for 200ml?

I'm not familiar with the A'kin brand but have you tried Una Brennan's Rose Cream cleanser? It might be similar.

Bee Good Cream Cleanser is lovely. You can get it in Waitrose. I think it's about £6.

Subtle smell, creamy texture, comes with little muslin cloth. Great moisturising cleanser - even gets rid of my waterproof mascara when used on a cotton wool pad.

Have you tried both Superdrug ones? I hated the radiant one- smelt foul and was very harsh and scritchy scratchy, so wasn't going to even try the Vit E but it is so much nicer, thick and creamy.

I now rotate between that, the Body Shop Chamomile butter, and Liz Earle (both the original and the Lavender and Neroli one which smells divine)

I have tried both Superdrug ones, neither liked my face!

I use the body Shop chamomile butter to remove my makeup in the evening and then use the cleanser to 'double cleanse' and make sure it's all removed so to speak.

Chestnutsroasting - does that have the signature soap and glory sweet sickly smell? I really cannot stand that smell unfortunately

Yes, the Superdrug ones are both anything but "natural" aren;t they? I am fine with the Vit E, but not the Radiant which was a minger.

I look soap & glory ultimelt too. It's got geranium in it which I love.

It has a smell but it's not the same as the Clean On Me shower stuff. That may not help!

Have you tried pai or bravura? I use a lot of their products but not the cleansers so can't comment individually on those but love the rovers, oils etc

Oh yes, the Pai one is nice but i find it better for mornings when there's no make up/sunscreen to clean off.

I have tried Pai but it's quite expensive from what I remember. Haven't heard of Bravura - will check it out.

If it's the rose smell you love, then Dr Organic Rose Otto range smells wonderful, as does the Organic Surge hot cloth cleanser.

Aqueous Cream. I dont suppose it's going to meet your luxurious requirement but very cheap and honestly does as good a job as anything else ive tried. Better than many

I use REN rosa centilfolia hot cloth cleanser cream and it's gorgeous - think it's about £17.

Very gentle and smells heavenly.
