Too blonde can I use baylayage?

I've just had my roots done and the hair dresser bleached a panel as it was a rush - I now feel way too yellow blonde for my skin tone - as very dark eyed - can I go back as the hair dresser to kind of reverse baylayage it so some the top section has darker lowlights in it while the bottom remains really light? Help!

Yes, mines darker with a few lighter blonde highlights at the top then gradually does blonder at the bottom.

Yes absolutely, I have this done as my ends are very blonde and my roots are very dark - the call it a root lift for me but as you want to go darker, not lighter, it will be something else

Just ask her to add in some low lights at the roots - should be really easy

The other thing you can try is home remedy for taking the brightness out of your hair - when mine is first done it's very ashy and blonde but tones down after a few washes - worth a google but I think you can wash it with something to speed it up

The other thing you can do is to get your hairdresser to add a toner which will darken it. She will prob prefer to do this first as you shouldn't have your hair coloured very close after you've already had it done.

First step is to call the salon and speak with the manager, they should be able to advise

Maybe it would help to post a pic? I'm mousey blonde with highlights and in the summer they can go fear too blonde. I use that purple toner shampoo once or twice a week to counteract the yellow tones. Sometimes for a change I use a beige or an ash toner. Might help if you google your problem and see if other people have had a similar problem? Sorry I can't be more help.

Yes as a PP mentioned it's called a root lift. I'm not sure if balayage is the same thing? My ends of my hair are bright blonde and the top of my hair very dark. I've included a pic.
