Sadly I cannot help you, but I didn't want your thread to fall away unnoticed.

Would these be any good?

I'd then be tempted to add a bit of colour with a shawl and bag.

Slingback Kitten Heel Sandals I'd go for colour with shawl and bag - acccent colour but wouldn't bother with a hat.

Gorgeous dress, Califrau. I think you probably do need to add colour for a wedding - maybe a teal colour (or could you go for purple - can look stunning with red hair)? No idea if you need a hat - is the wedding in the US or UK?

Califrau - sorry, wasn't ignoring you - I was out at book group. For some reason the link to the second dress won't work for me, so no idea what it's like.

I like the idea of wearing one for the day, then another for the evening (why not make the most of the chance to buy 2 lots of clothes?). Will you be buying accessories in the US or UK, ie, should I be recommending US or UK websites? Or will most ship to the US?

still can't see the second link calif,
The first dress is georgous, agree with others that a clolour would look better for during the day,but if you're going to wear it to the evening do then your antique one would be suitable.
