Are these still fashionable or should I just get ankle or biker boots? I'm so clueless these days!

Don't see many in the shops. Thigh high or Chelsea seem most popular.

I've seen a lot of knee high boots in the shops. I think they're a classic

I love knee high boots, ankle boots are my favorite though.

Thanks everyone. I have seem some nice Coach ones in sale but at £130 (sorry dont know how to link) they are a lot more than I was hoping to spend unless they are classic.

That sounds like a great price for such a brand. They will be a classic as I always wear mine, I love them.

I am still not sure about them - but the site offers free returns so I thought I would try them.

I think so, they are much more flattering than the ones which stop mid shin, they cut off at the fattest point, and sometimes you want something longer than ankle boots. Thigh high can be a bit "pretty woman" or towie.

Personally I like ones which are just over the knee and have two slim fitting suede over the knee flat boots, but have got a pair of knee high biker boots also and a couple of knee high high heeled suede boots. All go great with skinny jeans.

I think the rule is not to wear what's fashionable, but what looks good on you.

I think I was also unsure as part of me is probably just buying them just because of the discount rather than because I really love them!

I bought a navy suede pair of Clarks Caddy Belle boots recently. Got home and two days later saw they did them in a black leather, too, so bought them. And then saw them reduced in burgundy suede, so now own them. I've gone from no knee-highs to three pairs inside a fortnight. They're meant to be OTK but I'm tall (5'8") so they sit beautifully. I'm sure they're still discounted, and they're super-comfortable; we walked for miles around Kew Gardens in them this week and my feet never ached once.

The Caddy Belle boots are lovely- but they are still full price on the Clarks website
