What products do you use? & which straighteners?

It depends what products you're using, hair type and the straighteners.

I have long, very thick and wavy hair which tends to frizz. I wash it every other day and spray Bumble & Bumble heat protecter on while wet, then comb through some B&B smoothing cream. Rough dry, then straighten with GHDs in sections, then finish off with hairspray. Don't make the sections too thick otherwise it doesn't do it properly. Your hair needs to be dry too, not damp. I check the back with a mirror too to make sure I haven't got any bendy bits I've missed.

It does stay straight all day, but I tuck it all under a hat outside, especially if it's damp, cold or raining.

It sounds arduous, but I've got it down to a fine art and it only takes about 20 mins or so. I tried Yuko a few years ago, but it cost £250 and seemed to make no difference at all.

I use Remington Keratin straighteners and use either a L'Oreal heat styling spray or John Freda Frize ease. I try and do it in sections but by the end of the day it looks like I haven't bothered! Everyone else seems to have poker straight hair!

I use L'Oréal cream thing and locacoco that comes in a pink tin. My hair is naturally a fluffy bush and it keeps it straight. Also use a tangle teezsr brush as it'll help with breakage which causes it to get frizzier

If you want it poker straight you have to do about 10 strands at a time.
It doesn't look very natural though I don't think

I don't use any products (just a very good non-silicone, non sulphate shampoo and conditioner). My hair goes wild if left to air dry. I section into 3 horizontal section and use metal large radial brush. 3-4 passes of my Cloud 9s and it's shiny and straight all day. If I sleep on a silk scarf it stays that way for 2-3 days.

I don't do mine poker straight because it doesn't really suit me. Instead, I give the ends a bit of curl for body.
