Make up lesson for 14yo dd

I'm wanting to buy my dd a make up lesson for Christmas and wondered if anyone had any recommendations.

She doesn't really wear make up often and doesn't like the heavy make up like thick foundation or dark eyebrows. So something that would show her a good skincare routine and how to get a nice non-OTT look for her eyes, lips etc.

I know most of the beauty counters in department stores will do free sessions to see what the products are like, but does anyone know of any that are actual lessons geared toward teenagers? I don't mind paying for the session as if I did a free one I'd probably feel obliged to spend a fortune on products afterwards!

Would she want a lesson if she doesn't wear make up often?

Yes she's actually asked for one. She loves watching the YouTube tutorials and has quite a bit of make up. She doesn't wear it for school (not really allowed but lots of girls do) and only tends to wear it when she goes out shopping with her mates. She likes experimenting at home though. She's a bit like me really - I only wear moisturiser and mascara and maybe a bit of lippy most days and save the real slap for going out.

I might see if I can find a make up artist who'll do it.

At 14 I would argue there's only one brand that her friends would think was cool to get a makeover at, and that is Mac. It's certainly You Tube approved and would be very exciting.
