As title says. I'm fed up of wearing tights underneath them because they're too see through. TIA.

Primark have some fleece lined ones. They wash well and are lovely and warm. Plus no one can see what colour your legs are underneath!

Confident curve leggings from Very are really thick and good quality

Gap ones are great. They don't go see thru at all.

Boden leggings are pretty good.

Sorry just realised this says leggings not tights! Blush

The Sainsbury's Tu leggings are excellent quality. They are £10 a pair but definitely worth it. Not see through, thick, supportive and long too!

The Primark fleecy footless tights are really thick, warm and not see through. I think they are £5 a pair. They also wash well.

I second the £10 Sainsbury's ones.

What do you want to wear the leggings with? I really like Falke leggings, which are like very, very heavy denier opaque tights - I wear them with dresses when I want to wear boots and cosy socks - but they are definitely "footless tights" in terms of the material and couldn't be worn with a jumper/shirt.

I've just bought some spanx leggings for the bargain price of £5.99 from home bargains

They are fabulous and last time I bought them from a boutique they cost me over 30 quid

All I can think is that they must have changed the packaging

I'm going to go back and buy more pairs ( if they have any left after all the people I keep recommending them too)

I also like tu from sainsburys leggings - nice and long and black dense fabric that doesn't look shredded iykwim

I bought some Primark ones (I think fleecey lined) they had The most irritating seam in the crotch .

Sainsburys £10 ones are good

I bought some Maidenform from Costco (more shapewear than leggings really) but they rolled down.

I really like the Sainsburys velvet cord ones, they reach practically up to my armpits and don';t roll down. No constant tugging or builders bum.

I love my fleecy Primark leggings and have not noticed anything untoward in the crotch area. They are £6

The fleecy primark leggings/tights do so well for the money - I've washed mine loads and they're still fine. Also impossible to ladder them.

I got a pair in Costco recently. They are Maidenform -and have support in the tummy area and outer thighs.

They are quite opaque - but I haven't worn them outside yet to test in daylight.

Seem pretty thick though.
