Argh - ghds won't work!!! Need to buy some new straighteners asap.

Have had only 2 pairs of ghd straighteners since 2000!!!

Question is should I replace with ghds or would you recommend any others.

I bought the wide plate ones from Cloud 9. The temperature can be adjusted which I like, and they give perfect curls on my longish hair without leaving damaged ends. I've always been hesitant to leave the safety of GHD but haven't touched my GHD's for at least a year. I just daren't throw them out yet in case the Cloud 9's let me down.

Cloud nine are better than new ghd's.

I replaced my GHDs with a steam pod. I'm so pleased with it and it seems tondo a lot less damage to my long thick hair.

Just had a long post here and the app crashed! Angry

Essentially, go Cloud 9. Mines are 4 years old and going strong

The guys who make them were the original developers of GHD. They sold out and had to stay out the market for x years. Cloud 9 is what they came back with!

Don't bin your GHDs, they go for about £40 on eBay even broken ones! Or at least they did when I stumbled across them after binning my broken ones about 3 years ago 😩

L'Oreal steam pod blows GHDs out of the water. It's seriously amazing.

Cloud 9 all the way. I had ghds for agesand hesitantly switched to Cloud 9 after reading about them on here and they are so amazing I wish I switched earlier! You get temperature control and the plates glide through hair so much more smoothly.

The new GHDs are rubbish! Definitely steer clear!

I would disagree. My mums new GHDs are lovely compared to my older ones. So light and glide over my hair much better than my old ones.

I'd recommend Diva straighteners but it's probably too late Smile

Go for steam pods- so many people have said my hair is noticeably straighter and it doesn't go frizzy in a bit of rain anymore.
