Can someone help me find a UK- made handbag for my Christmas present.

Something stylish, suitable for every day use.

Maximum budget £250.

Thanks :-)

Tusting are amazing. They might be over budget but certainly worth the money. I saw them recommended on here about a year ago and have bought two. They are beautifully made and the leather is gorgeous.

Yep Tusting, I bought my first one 20 odd years ago and have a few, DH has received most of their men's range over the years and we have their luggage too.

The only thing that has ever worn out is a men's wallet but it gets a lot of stick, in and out of jeans pockets etc..

Must add, if you register they do usually do a 12 days of Christmas thing in December where they discount something in their range every day. Depends how long you can wait if you want something from them.

Mimi Berry. Lovely cross body bags, elegantly minimal and beautiful rich colours but very practical and good for every day.

Thanks all.

Love the Mimi Berry.

Mackenzie bags?

Me too Grumpy. Also the bags are made from vegetable-tanned leather which is far more environmentally friendly.

Hmmm. The one I like is much smaller than I'm used to. Can I adjust do you think?

The bigger ones are too much over budget.

Mimi Berry - really good quality and they age well. I have a couple and don't use anything else now.

KONOC.COM have some really beautiful bags, all made in the UK and all their leather and components are from small independant suppliers too, so they believe in supporting other UK businesses too. All bags in your budget too.

Mimi berry for me too. I have a few of her bags and love them all. It wouldn't surprise me if they had a discount code before Christmas. In fact I think you get 15%off if u sign up to their emails.

I just realised how nice it is to see someone actively looking for a made in GB product. I think I'll start a 'favourite made in GB brands' thread.

I agree Diana. I try to buy British if possible. There are a couple of websites listing British-made goods: one's called Make it British and the other is Still Made in Britain. Can't do links, sorry!
