My hair is a load of crap

Basically my hair is a thin, frizzy (even when I straighten it, there's snapped off wispy bits sticking out) un-style-able mess. It's just past my shoulders, and before now I've always done a low pony or 'ponytail not pulled all the way through the bobble' style but im absolutely fed up of it.

I've tried to do a messy bun a bit higher up on my head, I've copied numerous YouTube videos but nothings working. it just looks like a thin bit of fluffy shit.

My neighbour does this amazing messy bun/ponytail not pulled all way through thing and i've tried n tried it but it's not working for me. I did have my hair cut shorter several months ago, thinking it might be the answer but all it did was flick out like Miss Hooley's from Balamory.

Any hair advice appreciated Hmm

I started taking biotin in desperation at my hair. Has definitely helped. My hairdresser even noticed lots of new growth and asked if I had been taking anything. Also take high strength omega oil and iron. Can't help with styling I'm afraid; am hopeless!

Have you tried a babyliss big hair on it?

I think you should probably start with a good trim

Laughing at Miss Hooley hair Grin (Sorry).

Have you tried something to give your up do a bit more oomph? You could try a bun ring or you can get hair scrunchie things to put at the base of your ponytail which you can cover with your own hair for a messy bun look.

Be careful about pulling your hair too tightly into a ponytail as that could be causing the snapped off bits. I use V05 Smoothly does it spray (pink can) to smooth out any wispy fly away bits if that helps?
