What do you think of this work dress?

I'm updating my work wardrobe post mat leave.

Boden has loads of lovely jersey dresses at the moment which are the perfect shape for my figure (I'm hourglass, size 10). But waaaay too much black Sad. I look a bit ill in black.

I love this dress and the green colour is perfect for me but is the pattern a bit too "fun" for work?? I work in a fairly smart office environment but it's not super corporate and I wouldn't wear this on days where I have v formal meetings (which are rare!)

I think I'm a similar shape to you...I wear this in green to work and have been complimented. In my work environment it looks pretty smart witha pair of heels.

I was expecting some typical Boden mad print. But this one is quite nice and not too "fun" for your office, from what you say.

Go on, try it Smile

I think it would be suitable for most meetings too

Nice in all color ways apart from black! £80 for that though!

Good news: it has been reduced. My DD is quite keen on Warehouse at the moment. They have improved a lot and prices are competitive.

The dress is really nice but not good with those black tights.

Not sure if the style and pattern isnt a bit dated/ typical Boden? .. I prefer this one in green or plum? ..

I quite like that, -although prefer it in black or green,

I'm not sure about the dress Laska posted, sorry, I think that looks quite dull.

Ah but I am a bit Dull Bluntness Grin !! ..

Actually I think the green would look great with cropped cardi.. (or maybe with the prussian blue or black) .. and would be a good work basic to accessorise..

( No im not boring!! , ive just nabbed a Hush Tara in green! finally found one availiable in my size (it must have been a return) Smile

Id wear both the Boden one I posted above and also the Hush Tara to work (I wore the Hush ruched skirt today with the Boden relaxed cashmere v neck..opaques and flat boots)

Thanks everyone...you've convinced me (though I'm not sure I needed much convincing).

Laska I like that dress in both the colours you've suggested, it's just the shape which j don't think would work for me. I look a bit young (not in a good way!) in skirts which flare out.

Love the green coloured one, and it's definitely office appropriate.
