I have one, You may want to know that you cannot fill it with beads without stretching the leather and making it too loose to look nice.

I normally wear it with a maximum of 3 beads, but most of the times only 2.

As other people have said, not popular around these lands, I hated them but my leather one was a gift from some very supportive friends at a very dark time in my life, they told me I was such a free spirit I couldn't have anything but leather when they gave it to me.

So, I have worn it every day for the last 7 years, just to remind myself of the fact I am never alone and to not let my free spirit/freedom die grin

I just think you can get very much the same thing, far cheaper, unbranded. I'm not a fan of mass produced jewellery that is far more expensive than it has any right to be.

I agree that looking at the amount each bead costs, you can get much better jewellery for the same price.

Calculating you may spend a good few hundred in beads before the bracelet looks presentable, it just sound ridiculous. Hence, all my beads, but the one it came from, are fake. But again, each of them were bought on especially nice days while on holidays.

I have a navy one. With a crown charm. I like it smile

My DDs have silver bracelets with charms and then each got different coloured leather ones. They're awful. Cheap looking. Nothing good to say about them. Buy yourself a black leather shoelace instead.

I have Trollbead brown leather one, with a beautiful flower shaped catch. I much prefer them to Pandora. It has four strands twisted, with 3 silver charms and two glass ones.

CallarMorvern Sat 29-Oct-16 00:13:48

My silver beads are genuine, but the glass ones aren't.

They always get slated on MN but everyone I know in RL has one or more!

I like them.

I'd rethink getting one, OP.

I'm getting a bracelet and a couple of charms for Christmas too. I already have a Tiffany bracelet but don't like their charms because they are dangly.

Yes the cumulative cost of all the beads adds up and you could buy something of better value but I can't afford £££ in one hit. £40 a pop is reasonable. And I like the idea of people selecting beads and making it personal to me.

Everyone, dame? confused

Softkitty2 Sat 29-Oct-16 07:14:35

Pandora is crap IMO. Expensive for what it is and has no actual real value.

I have a leather three stranded Trollbeads one. Don't care if people hate it. Think the leather ones look better than the metal ones which are very Pandora-y.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Sat 29-Oct-16 07:37:34

Everyone, dame?

Yes, all of my girlfriends.

littlem133 Sat 29-Oct-16 08:24:17

Oh gosh. Good job I didn't get one just coz everyone else will like it then!! I like mine. It'll have 2 or 3 sparkly charms on it and that's all. I've never looked at pandora before but I did like some of their earings

DrScholl Sat 29-Oct-16 08:40:20

"Everyone I know in rl has one".

There's you answer plus they are actually just ugly beads

bruffin Sat 29-Oct-16 08:44:31

Ignore them Op,they are just being mean slirited for the sake of it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen Sat 29-Oct-16 08:44:59

Typical MN responsegrin

MissTeriName Sat 29-Oct-16 08:55:13

I have had a couple. No more than three beads. And do not get it wet, it shrinks.
