Leather skirt

I like this hush skirt but it's too expensive. I'm not sure exactly what makes it so expensive but anyway, it is too much to pay for a mini skirt. I like the idea of wearing with an oversized jumper and boots so pretty casual.

There's this one from the White company and there's 20% off but I'm only 5'3 so it's likely to be longer on me. I also prefer the straight mini shape of the hush one rather than to he slight A-line.

So, anyone seen anything similar for less? I would prefer leather but would have faux if it was the right style and didn't look shiny.

Don't get an A line, I had one from Debenhams it looked like an apron

Yes! I bought one from WArehouse. It's a lovely fit and not dissimilar to the White Company one.

Spot on with the A line, I'm not going for the blacksmith look this season. I'm not sure I the white company one is or isn't really. I want it fitted rather than flappy.

Yeah, I've seen that one, I'd just prefer one with a straighter fit. Warehouse and Zara have ones the right shape which are leather but they are gold or silver so not what I was going for really!

Jigsaw one is the best, like that more than the white company one

Yeah, that's my favourite too. I've not bought anything from Jigsaw for ages. Anyone know how the sizing is?

I have this one jigsaw skirt it doesn't look quite a triangular in real life! I'm usually a 10/12 in general and have a 12 in this. The 10 was too small but the 12 is a bit big but ok - an 11 would have been perfect!

I find jigsaw big, I have a size 10 suit ... No way am I a 10 atm but it still fits

I think they often look more a-line on the models as they tend to be so slim. My thighs would help fill the gap. I do like the idea of the more fitted one with a big jumper or long shirt. Cos I'm from the 80s.

I have this one - or at least an identical one from 2 years ago.

It's fake leather but quite "matte" ie not shiny and is a pretty good imitation. Good price, washes well and sits comfortably.

I've found mine to be a great investment, goes with a lot of things and have worn it for work, nights out and casual.

There are also a couple of fake leather ones in the ASOS petite range.

How do you feel about suede? I just got this one from Mint Velevet, it's lovely, not too a-line, really liking it.

I got the white company one, it's beautiful! I almost got the jigsaw one but I read a review about the raw edging making it very delicate so I went for the White co one because I never have any luck with things like that. It looks great though.

So the jigsaw one arrived. It's nice, really soft leather but the reviews are right about the raw edging- so much so that the one they sent was already damaged. So I'm returning it for a refund and trying the white company one next before the 20% off ends.
