Not legging, not jeans, what are they called?

I've been searching for some quite tight, soft, stretchy, thick grey trousers for ages. Not leggings, skinny jeans or jeggings though. I've tried those. And I want them to be a smooth colour, not faded or marled. And I want them to be the colour you'd image a baby elephant to be, mid grey rather than pale or charcoal.

Please find them for me grin

I have margarita. The ones I found in there felt really smooth and from a distance looked like very cheap denim.

How about:

white stuff

john lewis

Do you mean treggings?

poppym12 Mon 24-Oct-16 16:47:39

I think treggings is the closest name for what is in my head. I've just ordered some from next as they look to be the right elephant-y colour I'm after. Probably have to send them back as I'll look like momma elephant.

I think ponte is the material the sort of thing you have in mind are usually made from. Boden used to do some, which I have.

The boden ones look ok but they don't have grey.

Cos , the slim ones with side zip?

JCrew may be worth looking at too

No grey on cos or jcrew website. I'm obviously extremely untrendy grin

I really hate to say it but the best treggings I've seen are from Dash, the grannies favourite.

Ah sorry I missed that you wanted specific colour OP

The next ones seem OK (but I've only tried them on so may end up walking like a toddler with a wet nappy after half an hour).

These Espirit jeggings have a jean cut but don't look denim and are baby elephanty I think.

Ooh, those look good lucked. I like esprit. Good quality t-shirts. Seems they do 2 shades of elephant too grin
