After watching the Philip Green Panorama I'm thinking of boycotting his companies. Awful corrupt man and I don't want him to have a penny more of my business (not that I shop much at his places anyway).

Just wondered if anyone else was doing the same?

ImYourWomanJonSnow Fri 21-Oct-16 20:09:50

Yes and have been since the BHS.

sulee Fri 21-Oct-16 20:30:27

Yes. Luckily not a fan of any of his stores anyway, but I wouldn't give that xxxx any of my hard-earned dosh !

ReluctantlyRedundant101 Fri 21-Oct-16 20:31:46

Yes I am as he's the reason I'm reluctantly redundant!

CarpetDiem Fri 21-Oct-16 20:41:43

Yip. He should be in prison.

BumWad Fri 21-Oct-16 20:44:14

Didn't watch the Panorama show tell me more?

DianaT1969 Fri 21-Oct-16 21:15:39

I am. Have been since BHS too. I didn't buy much in DP and Topshop anyway, but stride by now.

RaeSkywalker Fri 21-Oct-16 21:19:06

Yes. I have been since the tax debacle a while ago. Haven't seen the Panorama though...

ImYourWomanJonSnow Fri 21-Oct-16 21:42:03

I just watched the programme. Despicable man.

Floisme Fri 21-Oct-16 22:56:23

Yup, BHS was the final straw. I know most of fashion is a pretty shoddy business but I can't bear the thought of that man ever getting another penny out of me.

ReluctantlyRedundant101 Fri 21-Oct-16 23:02:07

I had stopped buying in DP & Wallis even when we were getting the staff discount as I think all the stuff had got a bit naff over the last 2/3 years. I can't see them lasting much longer tbh he only seems to be interested in Top Shop

CallarMorvern Fri 21-Oct-16 23:13:38

No, why would putting more jobs in jeopardy be a good thing?

TrollTheRespawnJeremy Fri 21-Oct-16 23:50:49

Yes. Was an occasional DP shopper- no way now.

PickAChew Fri 21-Oct-16 23:56:45

Without even trying. Do any of those stores sell any natural fibres at all?

ImYourWomanJonSnow Sat 22-Oct-16 06:21:53

Callar if only it were that simple. People's jobs were gone because of corporate greed, it had nothing to do with turnover and sales and all to do with asset stripping.

teawamutu Sat 22-Oct-16 11:52:54

Yes. I'd just rediscovered Top Shop but can't bear the idea of funding his next yacht.

DianaT1969 Sat 22-Oct-16 13:38:03

CALLAR - the people who have jobs in those stores need a management/ownership structure which won't steal their pension fund and asset strip until the only willing buyer is a dodgy bankrupt happy to be the fall guy for 'Sir' Shitty Green.
Act now to boycott strongly and maybe he'll sell while he can get a return.
Would love to see him in prison but he's so greasy he'd slip between the bars.

flirtygirl Sat 22-Oct-16 14:27:11

Yep i will boycott, just more people would to show them the strength of feeling the public havr over bhs and the great pension rip off.

Twogoats Sat 22-Oct-16 14:34:56

I hope he's next on 2016's dead celeb list

OliviaBensonOnAGoodDay Sat 22-Oct-16 14:40:17

That escalated quickly

RosieWithTheGoodCreditHistory Sat 22-Oct-16 14:43:40

My thoughts exactly, Olivia. Your post made me chuckle

PigletWasPoohsFriend Sat 22-Oct-16 14:45:57

why would putting more jobs in jeopardy be a good thing?

I think jobs will be in jeopardy for as long as he and his non-tax paying wife are at the helm.

I would however like to distance myself from any death wishes.

UnoriginalNN Sat 22-Oct-16 14:58:17

Yes because

1) he's a wanker and
2) everything in there is overpriced for the quality
