Would you keep jeans that are "dry clean recommended"?

What brand are they? I've had some in the past that were dry clean recommended and washed them anyway.

They're Joe's jeans.

If they are a dark wash or indigo denim, a premium brand or made of selvedge denim then yes I would. You're not supposed to wash selvedge denim at all, so compared to that dry cleaning is preferable.

I'd send a coat of the same value to the dry cleaners, and that doesn't touch my skin or get worn worn as much, so why not?

This is the pair of jeans. I think the dry cleaning is so the paint splatter will be preserved.

No. I get my coat dry cleaned because that happens once a year maximum; jeans are right by my bum and other sweaty bits so I prefer them washed a few more times than that! Grin I can't afford regular dry cleaning.

Six years ago when DH worked for a dry cleaners I probably would have. It was ace sending all his shirts and my fancy stuff to be cleaned for free Grin
