Any ideas as to what to with my thick unruly hair that is minimal effort and can be put up for work. What cut would suit me best? I'm 30 BTW in case that matters Grin

Thanks wow....so not a shorter length all over? Feel like it's a bit of a mop even though it does have long layers.

i wouldnt unless you style it often?

mine was about your length and i had about 3 inches off. much more manageable but looks loads better when 'done' which i cba with for work

You already look lovely op. Smile
The first and main thing I would do though is switch to a side parting. I think that would improve your look massively and help prevent the feeling of it maybe just hanging there and looking flat on top compared to the bottom?
I'd take the length up just a few inches to just below shoulder length I think to give it more volume and a bit more of a style.

I have similar face shape to you but hair not as long. I asked a new hairdresser what would she would do if given free reign and she said a graduated (long) bob. You could still have it long enough to get in a pony tail at the back but the front would be longer and so you wouldn't look too drastically different from the front. I haven't summoned the courage to do it yet, but like the idea. I think it would suit you too

Thanks sly...I like the look of the long bob. I'm not very adventurous and I'm lazy with my hair so I need low maintenance Grin

I don't think I'd go too short. Is that how your hair naturally falls? Because if it is I'm completely envious! I think I'd trim to shoulder length, make it a little more blunt and maybe add a side sweeping fringe.

Your hair is gorgeous OP.

A small change would be good for your own morale. But don't get rid of it all.

How about cit so it's still long enough to tie up but side parting, maybe a sweeping fringe. You can always grow it out again if you don't like it.

Thanks for the replies they gave me a bit of a boost. Flowers yep this is how my hair falls naturally. I don't do anything with it just wash and leave it to dry. It's just very heavy and in my face so it usually gets tied back. But thanks for the compliments. Smile and ideas
