Can we have a thread about recent clothing purchases that we love?

I seriously need some inspiration for my winter wardrobe!

My best recent purchase is this dress from topshop (even though I'm probably too old to be shopping there!). Its very flattering on my short, pear-shaped figure and looks great with black tights and boots. Great for any occasion.

I love my Hush ruched skirts, and my Next joggers, which are as good as the Hush ones but lots cheaper.

I also love my Selfish Mama 'Winging It' sweatshirt.

That's gorgeous, I'd like that dress 😃

I've just bought these boots and they are very comfortable

I might order that dress now! Am a 10-12 would you say it came up small or looser?

I think they would Poldarker Grin

I'm nearly always a 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. Depends where you are bigger really! Larger boobs, waist or arms you should probably go up to a 12 but if you carry your weight on your hips a 10 should be fine. As its stretchy, maybe go for the 12 just to be on the safe side - I doubt it would be baggy.

Had that dress in my hands today and am very tempted by it!

I love those boots, and the dress is gorgeous too.

I bought a dungaree dress today. Not something I'd normally go for, but I had a FatFace voucher for my birthday three months ago and hadn't seen anything else there I liked. I also bought a denim shirt dress from Primark a couple of weeks ago so I'm clearly in a denim mood.

Missbehiving

They're the perfect length for me (I'm 5 7"), a good thickness - not so thick that I look like a teletubby, but thick enough to keep the wind out when I'm walking the dog. About £25.

Oh, and they can look fairly smart if you are into the sports luxe look.

Thanks - do you have a link please? I find Next website about as easy to navigate as the Bermuda Triangle.

Thanks poldarker have just ordered the 12 to be on the safe side and thinking might get away with it for work with tights and boots if it's not too short on me. Excited!

This dress. I know it doesn't look like much, but it suits my shape and looks lovely on.

I'll try, but I bought mine in store because the website twists my melon. Hang on.

After searching forever to find a denim skirt that is nice with my huge bum and hips i finally found one in asda!! Love it x

I bought this pleated skirt.

And this short-sleeved jumper.

The jury is still out for both. With the skirt, I'm never sure what top to wear, or what to put on my feet. And the jumper will need something long-sleeved underneath. I need to do some trying on.......

I can't find the other ones anywhere on the website. They're black, have mesh pockets, are made of slightly shinier material and according to the woman on the checkout, are classed as tailoring. Definitely joggers though.

Parka from Oasis and black/white adidas superstars, both useful for the school run and day to day activities.

I've had a very fine knit ribbed black roll neck from oasis, sounds simple (and it is!) but I find it's so hard to get really good quality basics! This is lovely.
I'm also loving a scalloped hem short skirt, leopard print flats from office and a dark denim dress from m&s that is undoubtedly the most flattering thing I own!
