I seriously need some inspiration for my winter wardrobe!

My best recent purchase is this dress from topshop (even though I'm probably too old to be shopping there!). Its very flattering on my short, pear-shaped figure and looks great with black tights and boots. Great for any occasion.

I love my Hush ruched skirts, and my Next joggers, which are as good as the Hush ones but lots cheaper.

I also love my Selfish Mama 'Winging It' sweatshirt.

That's gorgeous, I'd like that dress 😃

I've just bought these boots and they are very comfortable

Omg those boots! Gorgeous!

poldarker Sun 16-Oct-16 20:05:20

Those boots are fab! Think they'd look ok with my dress?

JustCallMeKate Sun 16-Oct-16 20:20:05

coat

I'd been looking for a coat this colour for ages. I absolutely love it.

MissBeehiving Sun 16-Oct-16 20:25:01

Yvaine - tell me more of the Next joggers. I have the Hush ones ..

helenlove Sun 16-Oct-16 20:29:02

I might order that dress now! Am a 10-12 would you say it came up small or looser?

LeonardoAcropolis Sun 16-Oct-16 20:29:57

I think they would Poldarker grin

poldarker Sun 16-Oct-16 20:32:27

I'm nearly always a 10 and the 10 fits perfectly. Depends where you are bigger really! Larger boobs, waist or arms you should probably go up to a 12 but if you carry your weight on your hips a 10 should be fine. As its stretchy, maybe go for the 12 just to be on the safe side - I doubt it would be baggy.

This dress, sized down: www.uniqlo.com/us/en/women-knit-column-long-sleeve-dress-175718.html?dwvar_175718_color=COL19&cgid=women-dresses-and-jumpsuits#start=6&cgid=women-dresses-and-jumpsuits

And this jacket:

Perfect matchy-matchy.

BlueEyedWonder Sun 16-Oct-16 20:38:26

Had that dress in my hands today and am very tempted by it!

EarSlaps Sun 16-Oct-16 20:38:38

I love those boots, and the dress is gorgeous too.

I bought a dungaree dress today. Not something I'd normally go for, but I had a FatFace voucher for my birthday three months ago and hadn't seen anything else there I liked. I also bought a denim shirt dress from Primark a couple of weeks ago so I'm clearly in a denim mood.

YvaineStormhold Sun 16-Oct-16 20:44:13

Missbehiving

They're the perfect length for me (I'm 5 7"), a good thickness - not so thick that I look like a teletubby, but thick enough to keep the wind out when I'm walking the dog. About £25.

YvaineStormhold Sun 16-Oct-16 20:44:53

Oh, and they can look fairly smart if you are into the sports luxe look.

MissBeehiving Sun 16-Oct-16 20:48:26

Thanks - do you have a link please? I find Next website about as easy to navigate as the Bermuda Triangle.

helenlove Sun 16-Oct-16 20:58:12

Thanks poldarker have just ordered the 12 to be on the safe side and thinking might get away with it for work with tights and boots if it's not too short on me. Excited!

AllPizzasGreatAndSmall Sun 16-Oct-16 21:01:11

Yvaine can you link to the ones you have, as there are quite a few.

This dress. I know it doesn't look like much, but it suits my shape and looks lovely on.

YvaineStormhold Sun 16-Oct-16 21:08:39

I'll try, but I bought mine in store because the website twists my melon. Hang on.

YvaineStormhold Sun 16-Oct-16 21:19:41

ordinary black ones here

Mumstudentbum Sun 16-Oct-16 21:22:24

After searching forever to find a denim skirt that is nice with my huge bum and hips i finally found one in asda!! Love it x

CointreauVersial Sun 16-Oct-16 21:23:59

I bought this pleated skirt.

And this short-sleeved jumper.

The jury is still out for both. With the skirt, I'm never sure what top to wear, or what to put on my feet. And the jumper will need something long-sleeved underneath. I need to do some trying on.......

YvaineStormhold Sun 16-Oct-16 21:33:54

I can't find the other ones anywhere on the website. They're black, have mesh pockets, are made of slightly shinier material and according to the woman on the checkout, are classed as tailoring. Definitely joggers though.
