Make-up - going as non-toxic as possible

I'm looking to go non-toxic with my make up, by that I mean avoiding dodgy parabens and chemicals as far as possible. What are the best brands? I only really know of bare minerals but not sure how 'natural' the brand is beyond the foundation being made from minerals!

I used to use Lavera, when I actually wore make up regularly.

There's also lots on this site ( I buy my sunscreen here).

RMS beauty, it's all (raw) coconut oil based though so not for everyone and spoils quite quickly so you have to make sure you get a fresh product.
Dr. Hauschka has some nice makeup products.
Kjaer Weis, it's all gorgeous but expensive. She scours the earth for the best natural ingredients, most of it is organic too.
Don't know if Ellis Faas would meet your demands but worth a look.
Physician's Formula (from the US) but is sort of a high street brand, mascara (the green one) and eye pencil highly rated and cult faves.

I think Lisa Eldridge did a video with natural/organic makeup brands recently, here.

Dr Hauscha is lovely - organic and biodynamic
Neals Yard is really good - organic and ethical
Look at some of the books and website of Janey Lee Grace

I love Tropic. Has absolutely transformed my skin. Not too pricey either. Downside is that it's through reps or online only. Money back guarantee though.
