Dress my daughter

Please help me find am out fit for my daughter. I find shopping for myself stressful let alone other people. I'm so unfashionable. She is turning 8 and having some friends for a build a bear party. She's quite tall so would need to fit a 9 year old or 10 if it's a small make. Smart daytime casual is what i'm thinking. Please help!

H an M is your friend.

Denim shorts, thick wool tights in a glitter grey, longsleeve t shirt in white or pink or purple then a hoodie. Finish off with dm style boots .

What does your DD say? Mine just turned 7 and would definitely want to choose her own.

Mine would want to be in a dress, hates dm boots etc, so you really need to ask her. Next, h&m etc all have sets set out in the store so you can see what they suggest.

Thanks. The problem is she CANNOT make a decision (a bit like me) so I wanted to show her a few options. She has DM style boots but I feel like i've been dressing her in tights and shorts sInce she was three and wondered if that is not cool anymore.

Just some ideas. Next and Zara. I think they would be age appropriate and fun for the build a bear outing.
But it really depends what your dd would like. If she is into her fashion then maybe look in river island girls section.

Sit with her and have a look at the next website for ideas? My DD hates clothes shopping unless she has a very clear aim, then will let me drag her somewhere to shop Smile

I always find something in Zara, they have an internet site too which will suggest what to add to a dress or trousers you may like. It's not ridiculously expensive and lasts well. I also like next as it delivers but some stuff can be pretty awful too!! I just bought mine the 'navy animal print flippy skirt' and 'navy embroidered floral sweater' for my 8 year old and that's (I think!) a lovely outfit.
Do look at Zara though and good luck!
