To wear with skinny black trousers for work..
bearing in mind I'm 5ft, 8 stone and a young 40!
Or will they make me look like I'm dressing like my mother?!?

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia Sat 08-Oct-16 16:53:53

oh no...the fringing/tassel and the ugly heel are too much together...

one or the other.

Loyly Sat 08-Oct-16 16:54:45

No, I don't like them.

WatchingFromTheWings Sat 08-Oct-16 16:55:32

What Tondelaya said. Too much going on there. And very old fashioned.

Sorry! blush

SuckingEggs Sat 08-Oct-16 16:57:30

Too fussy by half. Clunky, too.

Ringadingdingdong22 Sat 08-Oct-16 16:57:36

No don't do it. Sorry but nothing nice about those shoes imo. Would maybe be ok without the fringing and tassels.

Nettletheelf Sat 08-Oct-16 17:04:50

Aren't they those J Crew ones that Kate Middleton wore in Canada?

Let that be a warning. She has terrible taste in shoes.

Littlebee76 Sat 08-Oct-16 17:13:02

Oh crumbs so glad I asked before purchasing!
It's not normally my style so thought I'd try something different. Never again smile
They are from next so doubt it would be Kate's choice but there said - I do like her taste!

keeponkeepinon Sat 08-Oct-16 19:28:37

Not my cup of tea sorry op.

Jaimx86 Sat 08-Oct-16 19:31:51

I'm 29 and like them. You'd need to be careful that your top didn't clash.

BennyTheBall Sat 08-Oct-16 19:32:43

They are so fugly.

SinglePringle Sat 08-Oct-16 19:33:07

I love them! They are fugly in a great way. Google the Gucci heeled loafer with pearl heels. They are eying ugly in a totally fabulous and very very classic way. And very fashionable right now. Yours are similar.

SinglePringle Sat 08-Oct-16 19:34:19

eying? Lord knows how autocorrect changed totally to that?!

SansasEscape Sat 08-Oct-16 19:36:54

I think they've got an old school-ish, trendy vibe. Something Alexa Chung might wear with a pair of high waisted mum jeans and a floor length coat.

If you're just a regular woman (I fall into this category!) steer clear.

LucyLot Sat 08-Oct-16 19:40:59

The cube heel is gross. Dressing like your mother! RETURN!

allegretto Sat 08-Oct-16 19:42:33

No we definitely don't.

Fairylea Sat 08-Oct-16 19:43:13

Deffo similar to Kate's ones. I don't like them, sorry.

Clarks have some very similar but slightly less fussy type shoes.

garlicandsapphire Sat 08-Oct-16 19:43:24

Yup fugly fugly.

clayspaniel Sat 08-Oct-16 20:13:57

Like them, especially with skinny black trousers. Would only be frumpy if worn with knee length skirt and tan tights or with golfer type smart 'slacks'.

PotatoBread Sat 08-Oct-16 20:25:14

I quite like them for work but you'd be quite limited as to what you could wear them with. Black cigarette trousers with with a black or cream/white top - that's about it really. Would look terrible with a skirt, dress or tights.

Littlebee76 Sat 08-Oct-16 21:32:57

I tend to be quite conservative at work anyway, skinny trousers with either a black top or white shirt so no problem on the matching front.
Think I'm going to go with them, I'm not frumpy so think I could make it work!

DarkBlueEyes Sat 08-Oct-16 21:34:59

I love them.

SquirrelPaws Sat 08-Oct-16 21:37:25

Are they a bit Theresa May?

EnidButton Sat 08-Oct-16 21:43:06

They're a bit panto prince.

Littlebee76 Sat 08-Oct-16 21:53:42

Enid.. grin
