Where does Karen in Colf Feet shop for clothes ?

I really envy Karen's look - jeans, layered tops, nice blazer & scarf. Its a look I would like to be able to pull off, although the fact she is tall and slim rather than short & fat might make a slight difference.
Where can I shop on the high street for the sort of layered tops & jumpers that she wears.

No idea, but I would love to know where her grey scarf came from.

I'd love to know where the sweater with angel wings on the back is from. She's worn it in a couple of episodes

Glad I'm not alone. We just need someone with some idea of where the clothes are from.
My dd was pleased that one of Karens daughters was wearing the same Topshop shirt as she was when we watched it on Monday.

Not sure where she shops but she looks bloody good, she hasn't aged at all!

Oh my god I was thinking exactly the same, but like you I'm only 5 ft and brunette! Still love her style tho. I'm thinking she's more jigsaw, reiss, whistles type of girl.

Maybe Hush, Zara, Mint Velvet

Combination of jigsaw and white company I'd say

she hasn't aged at all!

She so has! I got Series 5 from a charity shop recently, and she so has. She has aged well, but she has definitely aged.

She looks better in Cold Feet than she did in that pregnancy series with Jill Halfpenny.

I hated that angel wings sweater. It's something I would have worn circa 2002. When I was 19 years old.

The angel wings jumper is Berinice at Harvey Nicks, hth.

Its not just her clothes, it's her deportment. She looks relaxed, elegant and confident in her own skin.

Pretty sure I got my angel wings jumper in New Look.
It's not exactly an investment piece!

She so has!

You're allowed to get old. It's not a crime.

I hated the angel wings jumper.

Really naff for a 50 year old woman - it's teenagery.

She does like her scarves. Her clothes look expensive- probs White Company and the like.

I liked that jumper although not sure I could pull it off myself. DH asked why she had a pair of lungs on the back of it Grin

I would imagine someone with Karen's job/income/lifestyle would be a pretty high end shopper although you can get that layering stuff reasonably cheaply on the High St e.g. Zara and H&M.

And of course she's aged. She also looks good. The two things are possible. Personally I think she's swallowed the 'middle aged women should wear neutrals' line a bit too literally. I'm sure she wore more colour last time around.

Ok, sorry for the offence.

To be honest, I just think she looks really, really good. It's difficult to say the right thing on here Confused. It was supposed to be a compliment.

Report
Floisme · 08/10/2016 15:28

Well sorry you're Hmm but it does get wearing when the only compliment you ever get once you're past 55 is 'Oh you haven't aged at all.' It's not offensive but it's so patently untrue that it takes all the shine off. It kind of makes you think they're talking out of their arse.

On the other hand, 'You look really, really good' is a lovely compliment and true at any age. See? Smile

I do see what you mean flo and I agree with you. Def meant as a compliment but to tell someone they've not aged as a compliment does mean that aging is bad. Probably not really meant that way or thought through but that is the message.
