London hairdresser for colour?

I have brown hair but I am going grey! Shelled out at Paul Edmonds to get a cut and colour and the cut is great. Have had 3 colours now, first a disaster( went red/ginger) second one amazing and third one has reddish tone again. I just want to stay my natural colour which is a Middleton sisters brown! Glossy healthy brown and just not red! I don't mind spending££££ I have to lookgroomed for work and it's the only bit of grooming I do but I thought a top Knightsbridge salon would get it right? I will try and get them to rectify it but I've lost faith and need a new recommendation going forwards. Any ideas? Central or south west
London ideally!

There are a couple of people who have won prises for colour but they all seem good to me!

I had a colour correction & re-dye done recently at Inanch on Great Portland Street. They did a fabulous job of transforming my hair from patchy dark brown/gray to light ash brown.

Skyler macdonald, Dylan or Rachel valentine at Sean Hanna - Putney. The entire staff there have qualified in colour specialist at L'Oréal academy though so should be in good hands with any of the staff.

When I lived in that direction I used to get brilliant colour done at Myla and Davis at Brixton or Herne Hill. Never had a bad stylist at either branch.

Jo Hansford, South Audley St, W1. They are colour specialists.

Second for Jo Hansford - I see Dan every 6 weeks, he is a colour God - took my very patchy mud brown to a shiny glossy Middleton sister shade of total gorgeousness - I love my hair - the rest of me is OK but I do love my hair. Marcio at the same salon cuts it every other visit and between them I leave all swishy and fabulous!!!

I'm Envy at the sound of all these London stylists and colourists. Wish they'd branch out to the North.

Been eyeing up George Northwood recently but haven't been personally.

Plum Do you have a pic of your hair by any chance? (With face obscured obviously) It sounds gorgeous.

Re George Northwood, went to him at his salon for a while up to about a year ago. He's good and weaned me off my too short crop but kept cancelling appointments to fly off on a shoot etc and now he only does his celeb clients.
Much happier with my guy at Daniel Galvin who is just as good if not better for me and is reliable.

Skylar is great as is the Galvin team. Mark at Brazilian Look on Fulham Road (Broadway end) is a very good colourist - he is excellent at finding a shade to complement skin tone. He also does home visits.

😃 Thank you Plum

That's good to know Poly although I suppose the rest of us staff might still be very good. Their website is very appealing.

Tbh, didn't think the colour team at G Northwood were as impressive as at some other top London salons I've been to, like Galvin and Frieda.

Do post a pic plum. I went to Hansford once a very long time ago but I'm blonde so different ball game. I'm sure Hansford are brilliant at that too but they did mine with too ashy a tone for my skin. As indeed did Galvin, who are also famous for colour, the first time I went there, but I'm now very happily settled with my present colourist there.

I'd recommend Nadia at Jonning & Riashi (by Goodge St tube). She's incredible at colour correction and spends so much time making sure I'm happy and that she understands what I want. I started going after my previous (excellent) hairdresser moved away - so happy I found her.

Oliver at Taylor Taylor in Liverpool Street. The man changed my life. He can never leave.
