These jackets. I like the one with the small pocket but it's £79 more expensive.

OlennasWimple Wed 05-Oct-16 01:35:15

I like the fit on the more expensive one much better (assuming that it fits you properly, that is!)

VioletBam Wed 05-Oct-16 01:35:19

Yes. The more expensive one is also a far better cut.

TheVirginQueen Wed 05-Oct-16 01:36:07

I prefer the first one as it's less 'shiny'. Which is the more expensive one?

CoolToned Wed 05-Oct-16 01:36:37

The first one is more expensive.

TheVirginQueen Wed 05-Oct-16 01:38:36

Oh, Yes, well I prefer the first one, the zips up the sleeves are a bit too much on the second one as well. The first one is just subtler less shiny and nicer.

zippyswife Wed 05-Oct-16 06:40:12

The first is much nicer (where is it from).

dudsville Wed 05-Oct-16 06:42:37

It does look like the 1st one is a better shape.

Floisme Wed 05-Oct-16 07:07:00

I think the one in the first small pic is a much nicer shape and the pockets are vertical which is more flattering. However they've both got a lot going on in terms of zips, pockets, studs. Have you tried them on?

CoolToned Wed 05-Oct-16 07:25:47

This is the first one

This is the second one

CJCreggsGoldfish Wed 05-Oct-16 07:30:02

The first one is a lot nicer. I don't actually like the second one much.

OliveBranchCollins Wed 05-Oct-16 07:35:51

Definitely the first one

Floisme Wed 05-Oct-16 07:38:02

Yup I meant the first one, although the second looks better unfastened. They'd both be too busy for me but I'm quite small.

GoofyTheHero Wed 05-Oct-16 07:39:34

First one is much much nicer.

PickAChew Wed 05-Oct-16 07:40:14

The second one looks like a binliner.

burnishedsilver Wed 05-Oct-16 08:00:47

Yes. Pay the extra.

HolgerDanske Wed 05-Oct-16 11:30:04

The second one is horrendous.

Aderyn2016 Wed 05-Oct-16 14:31:09

Agree that you should pay the extra. The 2nd one, even at £79 cheaper is still too expensive for it not to be completely right. It will likely annoy you in the long run if you get the cheaper one and the cut isn't as flattering.

ImperialBlether Wed 05-Oct-16 14:33:25

The second one is awful but the first one is great.

CoolToned Wed 05-Oct-16 19:52:18

I ordered the first one! smile

CoolToned Tue 11-Oct-16 11:31:53

Update: It arrived today. It has holes (defects) on it and the leather is very thin and smells weird, almost plastick-y. But it says 100% sheep leather. Definitely inferior compared to my BLK DNM and Schott.

Needless to say, it is going back.

Queenbean Tue 11-Oct-16 11:34:09

I'm glad you said you don't like it, because I was going to go against the grain and say they're both not very nice. The weird little pocket which sits nearly in the middle of the stomach but not quite is really horrible.

Good luck with finding another one OP!

CoolToned Tue 11-Oct-16 11:41:15

I think maybe they tried to copy Acne Mape jacket with that little pocket?

I was really disappointed - I've seen high street jackets with better quality than this. This is like Zara or River Island level.

Thanks Queenbean!

Florathefern Tue 11-Oct-16 12:10:12

The first one is lovely. It looks way more than 79 odd mor expensive.

Florathefern Tue 11-Oct-16 12:13:07

Just saw your update after I posted. Holes in it? How much was it originally? It looks expensive though obv even if it wasn't, it shouldn't have holes in it!

I wouldn't worry terribly about the smell as leather often smells. I think most 'new' leather takes time to wear in. My favourite leather jacket is twenty years old and I bought second hand back then!
