Fitted, I say, not baggy.

With a deepish V.

Not cable-knit or any other bollocks.

Not looking like a school jumper.

Where is it? It must exist somewhere.

No replies because it's boring?

Or no replies because it's IMPOSSIBLE?

Momzilla82 Mon 26-Sep-16 19:58:03 or try jigsaw, marks and Spencer's autograph nice v neck one seems only to come in navy.

I have that Uniqlo one IN MY HOUSE.

It is going back.

It is not so fitted.

The v is very high.

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:02:41

This is not what you said at M&S but it could be the thing that I want

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:02:59

If only it were made out of nicer material.

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:03:53

This is the only Autograph M&S one and the V is TOO HIGH AGAIN

Momzilla82 Mon 26-Sep-16 20:27:57

I sympathise it's frustrating when you can't find what you want.

This is the navy one I am trying to find a reason not to buy

Momzilla82 Mon 26-Sep-16 20:31:05

Yet more navy . . .

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:31:52

Thank you for not just calling me bonkers smile

You'd think a black jumper would be a simple thing, but it is not.

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:32:39

That Autograph one appears to have a better V, but it had SHORT sleeves (I could do 3/4, but not short) and doesn't come in black.

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:34:38

Just make all your jumpers in a range of colours, people!

Momzilla82 Mon 26-Sep-16 20:35:58

How about but sadly it has polyester in 😁

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:36:46

Boden are tempting me with some nice knitted dresses but the only v-neck jumper I can find it this one and "relaxed" is not the fit I want.

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 20:38:53

That's a better V but from this pic and this pic it looks like it's not very fitted.

banivani Mon 26-Sep-16 21:45:03

You will never find it. It is much too basic and sensible an item of clothing. Also it is a law (A Law) that v-necks must never ever be sold in a colour you want. I suggest you look for scoop necks instead. They're all ooover the fecking place always.

Also all tops are relaxed right now. Very depressing.

superseagull Mon 26-Sep-16 21:51:31

Not fitted enough?

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 21:52:44

If you see a scoop neck with a low enough neck and fitted like I want I will happily give it a go!

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 21:54:59

The fitted-ness of the Pure one looks very different on the different models.

I want a jumper that expects me to go out then in again.

NotTooBothered Mon 26-Sep-16 22:03:02

I have the black M&S v-neck from the first link on RIGHT NOW.

It is great. Feck the fabric (and I say that a someone who loves a natural fiber). It is FITTED. It ends at my WAIST. It has a deep v that looks good with large norks. I am going to get the burgundy one now...

sentia Mon 26-Sep-16 22:11:01

What about this?

rosesandcashmere Mon 26-Sep-16 22:12:03

I had the most amazing grey one from Zara a few years ago. I must go back and see but I would think they should do black?

Trills Mon 26-Sep-16 22:17:23

Oh, it's good is it?

It is the only one in the right shape that I've seen.

sentia thank you for your contribution but I have already requested no cable knit or other bollocks.

musicmum75 Mon 26-Sep-16 22:21:54

I completely feel your pain. I am a short arse and trying to find a jumper that doesn't drown me and ends at my waist is impossible. I think I am going to order the first M&S one you linked to though. It looks promising.

I live in fine merino v-necks in the winter. I used to get them almost exclusively from Gap but after accidentally felting an old favourite in the dryer and trying to buy a replacement I was alarmed to see that they aren't doing them this year.

Anyway. Try this one from Banana Republic. Plenty of colours, although sadly black is sold out in XXS, M & L.
