Colour B4....how to stop re-oxidising?!

I used Colour B4 yesterday, it removed all the dyed dark tones in my hair, leaving me with a lighter copper brown, which I'm quite happy with. Ive used Colour B4 a few times in the past, however I remember the last time I used it, my hair 're-oxidised' and turned dark again over the next couple of days!

I've heard using baby shampoos may stop this. I did try johnsons shampoo but I didn't like it, left my hair greasy & didn't stop the darkness! Is there anything else? The whole process of Colour B4 is a pain in the ass as it is so I don't fancy doing another application!

I've got some of this shampoo left, it's says non-oxidant on the bottle - will this help or would I be better with something like simple?

Thanks!

I had this with a similar product (Scott Cornwall Decolour, I think it was called) and it was caused by not rinsing for long enough. Next time I did it I set a timer and it worked perfectly. (That probably doesn't help if you've already done it though.) I then ended up using a second product - also a Scott Cornwall one - which combined bleach and colour remover, and allowed me to colour over it with a permanent dye immediately. My hair was a bit dry after, and the whole thing was an unbelievable faff! The shampoo you posted probably means blueberries are an anti-oxidant superfood type thing, I don't think it will have any bearing on reoxidisation.

Thanks Judy...I set timer & rinsed for 15 mins, felt like an eternity! If it does darken, I don't think i can be bothered to faff on with another application and my hair feels pretty dry now. I may get some of that simple shampoo anyway as that should be quite mild. I suppose I could do a vitamin c mix if it darkens a lot, not as much as a faff on & cheaper!
