light autumn transition coat

I'd quite like to get a coat for autumn (and maybe spring) nothing too heavy weight but enough to fling on over workwear and not too hot in this autumn weather. Don't want a trench coat but the &other stories one is nice. all the coats i have are either casual (leather) or cocoon wool (ok but too hot) or wool and properly winter. I want a transition coat.

any nice ones out of these? I'm 5 ft 5, slim/curvy (size 12) quite long legs, defined waist etc. The &otherstories relaxed coat is calling the most to me...

They're all nice, would go with everything. I like the H&M one (might get it myself!) and the belted trench more than the relaxed coat personally.

Thanks! The h&m one is an absolute bargain but I want to get an easy to wear one and something that won't date. I'm not sure the h&m one would work in that case but for £29.99 who's complaining?!

Love the second relaxed one Smile

Just bought the H&M one in navy, my new autumn "neutral".

It's a nice relaxed fit, good length and sleeves on me (a short 5'2), and I love the big patch pockets.

The material feels a bit cheap, though, and it's snagging/ pulling already.

Thanks Melanie I'm going to try on the &otherstories one as I'd prefer one that lasts a bit still slightly pissed off at the Zara raincoat where the hood buttoned on lasted all of 6 months before the buttons fell off!
