dneice is 11 on Wednesday. For various reasons I have left it too late and my usual go to shops are a bit thin in stock just now.

Looking for a branded t-shirt up to £25 that an 11 year old girl would love that I can order now and arrive for Tuesday. Don't mind paying delivery charges (my own fault for leaving so late) HELP!

So far I have this, which I'm not sure about.

Like this but out of stock in her size

Lweji Mon 19-Sep-16 11:27:16

Ooooh, that's a minefield.

I'd make sure, whatever I bought, that it could be returned with no fuss and hand out a gift receipt.

(for boys too)

BTW, it looks fine to me, but you should know her style better. Otherwise, ask her parents.

I can't advise on the clothing, but Next online stock a lot of brands a d do next day delivery.

sidsgranny Mon 19-Sep-16 11:29:48

What about a NEXT voucher? You can get them in Tesco. She could choose something herself then?

WeAllHaveWings Mon 19-Sep-16 11:31:08

both pictures are from Next, birthdays at this time of year are painful as they are running out of stock of everything.

ds(12)'s girl pals run are all a bit tom-boy and wear North face. dn is a bit more girly, but not really girly.

Receipts always provided for returns.

I'm planning on getting the t-shirt and an iTunes voucher as she likes music, would prefer to get something, if I can find it, rather than another voucher.

Lweji Mon 19-Sep-16 11:34:03

Could you offer to go shopping with her, as a treat, and pay for an item of clothes she likes?
Or is she far?

ParadiseCity Mon 19-Sep-16 11:35:04

Have you tried hype website? I know they have t shirts but if a bag would be OK they have some £10 rucksacks. Not sure of delivery but as bags so Bargainous you could pay for next day!

WeAllHaveWings Mon 19-Sep-16 11:36:07

Maybe a hoodie and I can get a £15 iTunes instead of £25. Better for the Autumn coming?

Pretty sure JD do next day delivery, my 11 year old DD is very into anything Ellesse at the moment, they don't do a kids range but a size 4 in ladies fits her nicely, and she's a very skinny 11

LordTrash Mon 19-Sep-16 11:38:28

My 11 y.o. dd likes Hype, Adidas and gets most of her other bits from New Look - most recent purchases are a plaid brushed cotton shirt (very 90s grunge!), a denim-look shirt, various leggings and jeggings and T-shirts with slogans. Next would do that kind of thing.

Hoodies are always good, too.

Lweji Mon 19-Sep-16 11:38:48

Actually, yes, warmer clothes are probably better at this time. She might only wear a short sleeve T next year.
I like that too. Are those colours she wears?

JaneAustinAllegro Mon 19-Sep-16 11:47:22

my nearly-10 year old LOVES the new look Tween range - you can get New Look vouchers in WH Smith / Tesco etc.

HateHimReallyDo Mon 19-Sep-16 11:48:50

converse again

nike hoody

My 11yo begged for an ellesse hoody at the summer. Apparently ellesse is the top brand these days. I got her the hoody it was £35 but I'm sure you could get a t shirt well within your budget

WeAllHaveWings Mon 19-Sep-16 12:00:39

possibly a North Face hoodie from Surfdome (never used them before, will be good for ds in future)

WeAllHaveWings Mon 19-Sep-16 12:20:15

Not sure about Ellesse and buying ladies sizes.

Going for the Hype hoodie and £15 iTunes, mainly because I like the deep burgundy colour, hope she likes it. the good thing is its Next so easy to return and pick something else if she doesn't.

Thanks all.

CallarMorvern Mon 19-Sep-16 13:24:22

It's all Hype, Vans and Superdry here, not North Face...that's what the parents wear 😁 DD, who isn't the trendiest lives in football tops, funky leggings and Converse.
I'd say a Hype hoody is a good choice, though I'd never be brave enough to buy clothes for a pre-teen or teen. Hype rucksacks are very trendy too, if you wanted something other than clothes.

I take my own 11 year old for advice regarding his cousin. smile
