Are loafers 'past it' now? I have just ordered these.

Was thinking of wearing them with midi skirt

If you've got very good legs go for it, bit midi skirts and loafers can both shorten the look of your legs and make you look a bit dumpy iykwim.

They're nice shoes in their own right though

I think they still look current enough, specially with the thick soles. Prefer the silver myself but admit I'm a bit obsessed with silver shoes!

I love those laska. I'd buy them NOW if they made them big enough!

The silver are great Poly , but those white soles will soon look tatty I think..
Hago I take your point about ' dumpyness'.. My legs are one of my better points , but I am only mid height.. 5'6 ..
I have a long red midi and thought it would maybe look good with navy shoes and tights rather than black.. but will see.. might end up with heels.. (but dont want to look too 1980s)
I do love the look those loafers though.. !

Good point about the white soles in winter.
I think those are really nice and the 20% discount great. I have some quite similar shoes from R and B which cost much more than those, even without the discount.

Do you find KG generally comfortable and do they come up wide, narrow or neither?

Neither I think, Poly I have to say that I have found KG can be a bit random in their shoes for being comfortable ( but that could just be me!!) I have a couple of pairs of their winter shoes and boots and they are fine ( its mostly the sandals In which I have sometimes found the straps not being quite right for me)..

They have free returns, though so no harm in giving them a go..

Thanks for reminding me about these OP. I was buying some shoes there in the summer and the shop assistant was wearing the silver ones and they looked fab. Unfortunately they didn't have them in my size and I forgot about them. Just ordered the silver and navy ones with the discount code.
