Thermal slip - impossible to find - anywhere abroad have these? Scandinavia?

Not for the first time, I've been looking for thermal slips / underskirts for winter - either the chemise type or the waist slip type. Nada. Damart had one (fugly - but if it's hidden and warm doesn't matter) but they were all sold out when you actually try to add them to basket. There are some M&S ones on eBay but they're shapewear.

The US chain Anthropologie had some, long sleeved ones, there are some on US ebay, the shipping charges are vast. It seems like the sort of thing that places in Scandinavia and Germany might have but I don't know where to start looking or all the different terms they might use for them. Any ideas?

You can even get skirts made of down jacket material now (there are some here www.cotswoldoutdoor.com/womens/dresses-skirts/skirts ) but something to wear under "normal" skirts and dresses in cold weather, if you'd find synthetic thermal leggings uncomfortable, is weirdly rare here.

Uniqlo usually have thermal underskirts.

I think Uniqlo has dropped those lines. I used to live in their thermal dresses.

Patra still do silk thermal undergarments. I think they sell mostly to elderly people via adverts in the back of the Sunday Express but it's perfectly good stuff if that's what you need.

Yeah, I looked on the Uniqlo site this year and last year and there were none.

Hadn't heard of Patra before. Thanks.
