Natural-loooking FAKE hair extensions?

I have worn extensions for years as I have very thin hair with some bald patches. My hair looks natural, in that I don't have cascades of peroxide blonde hair, but darker brown and cut in a style. So it is not obvious that I have extensions.

Recently I have been reading about how real hair is acquired and it's awful. i don't want to be part of this cruel trade anymore so I am looking into moving to fake hair.

I know that fake hair has a reputation of being fake-looking as it is a bit shiny, but wondered if anybody had a recommendation for fake hair extensions that look natural? I am looking for hair that stays on your head for months, not the type you put on and take off.
