I used to wear shorts to work (in an office) similar to those pictured with opaque tights and boots so yes I would.

Depends on lots of things, where you work, your age, and your size.

Agree with Mrsderek, depends on a lot. Dress code? Would you wear a skirt that short?

They wouldn't cut it anywhere I have worked, much too short.

I wouldn't. I work in a school, and I would wear a short skirt styled the same way (thick tights/leggings, with boots), yet shorts just seem...wrong. I can't put my finger on why, though.

Depends on your job, I suppose. I wore shorts to work one very hot day years ago and got told off! They were knee-length, quite smart, had a matching jacket. Male boss (shiny, too-tight trousers) enquired if I was heading to the beach.

I like the ones in the picture but I wouldn't wear them to work - then again, I am ancient now and work in a conservative office environment.

I wouldn't only because I'm fat and would look hideous in shorts! But if I was slimmer then yes I would wear them to work, but only styled like the picture, I wouldn't wear them without opaque tights.

Yes, with the opaque tights and ankle boots in autumn/winter, not with sandals and bare legs in summer.
My office is smart, but creative/media type stuff, so it would be fine. And I'm slim, which I think helps.

Yes as in the picture with opaque tights and boots or shoes but if would depend where you work and the environment. I would in financial services as an accountant so no but more creative role then yes I would!

I would. I work in an office with a very relaxed dress code and I'd wear those with or without tights.

Would and do. Very similar to the picture. I'm 45 and work in a creative industry. No-one would bat an eye. I do have cracking legs though.

Actually, on closer inspection, my shorts are shorter. Wool and tailored.

I think they're too short for work.

I'm a nurse. This summer I discovered that we can wear shorts (written in uniform policy). I wear navy blue knee length shorts with black trainer type shoes. TBH it looks a bit silly with a nurses tunic but seeing as my dept is regularly 35+ degrees I didn't really care. By the end of the summer there were quite a few of us in shorts

It really depends on the office. In my office, which is quite formal, there is no way I would get away with shorts. But in a more casual office I don't see the problem.

I don't think shorts (unless knee length) are appropriate for the office. You're not on the beach and you're not out clubbing.

I think shorts like that can look pretty smart with the right top and shoes.

I wish I had the legs to pull off a pair of shorts!

They ain't that short! I'd wear them with tights to the office.

This summer I've been wearing loose knee-length shorts to the office with bare legs. Fine. Office is fairly relaxed, however.

Yes, I would.

My office is too 'corporate' so no but if I worked somewhere else, definitely.

I can remember wearing denim cut offs to the library I was working in as a yound newly qualified librarian The boss was a hippy anarchist and we all walked around bare foot. This was the the very early 1990's. One woman wore those novelty animal head slippers quite often as she had sore feet.

Ah eccentricity is not allowed in any sector anymore it's a shame.

Yes to those shorts and yes for work. No to those atrocities you're calling boots.

Unless you live in an igloo.
