DS1 is 16, takes size 11 shoes but his feet are very narrow - we managed to get some smart black shoes for school and trainers are usually ok but he's at an age where he needs something else to wear for smart/casual. For example going out for a meal with us. He now has a work experience placement coming up where he will need to dress smart/casual, I think the black school shoes are too formal (it's a young IT development type company) but trainers aren't appropriate either. We are also going on a city break soon.
Most of the places that sell slim fit shoes are either for old people r are selling hand crafted brogues at £150 a time. I'm thinking more like a pair of casual boots that can be worn with plain coloured or dark denim jeans.
Anyone any suggestions?
