because I was thinking if I was going to buy it.

Now it's out of stock.

It's past season and in the outlet, so there's no chance of me getting one again.

Aaaargh.

It's not that great a dress right?

Right?! :(((

I just lost this

Naw. You would've hated it on.

There is an Alannah Hill outlet store in Watertown (Perth). If you know the name of the style, you could phone them and see if they have it in stock? (Long shot but who knows.)

Koala -

Yeah, the name is "You make my dreams" dress.

It's not in Clearitonline though. That's the outlet store of Alannah Hill right?

I don't like the top at all to be honest. Are you stick thin? Else I'm not sure it'd be nice on.

Tiggeryoubastard · 13/09/2016 11:20

That's a fugly dress. Far too little girly. Think you dodged a bullet.

Report
CoolToned · 13/09/2016 11:23

MyKingdom - definitely not stick thin!

Hmm, it's OK but not a showstopper.

If you have any boobs at all the top part would look terrible I think.

whywonthedgehogssharethehedge · 13/09/2016 11:40

Yep that's not going to look good with curves. I'm in dodged a bullet camp.

Doesn't do it for me at all, but I totally feel your pain as something I'd been stalking for weeks sold out just as I decided to buy it today. I am stewing Hmm

I'm flat chested. Not slim at all, but has a straight body - no curves.

Anyway, also telling myself my massive arms won't look good in that dress!

Koala -

Too expensive for me. That dress was just $89 on sale. :(

My colleague is really quite curvy (not overweight, but solid bum and slim waist, not straight-up-and-down) wears a lot of Alannah Hill. She looks amazing in it.

She doesn't have big boobs, admittedly.

It reminds me of the dresses my mother made from us when were kids. They weren't nice then and I'm sorry, but that's not nice. but then I'm no spring chicken, so may be a tad unfashionable

Oh bugger. Sad

(Btw, are they owned by same parent company as Review? V similar aesthetic, I've just realised.)

Report
CoolToned · 13/09/2016 11:46

Koala - I don't think so, but I noticed the resemblance. Only Review uses a lot more polyester than Alannah. Alannah is under the same company as Revival, Princess Highway, Dangerfield.

That dress looks hard to wear. Too high necked, too short, too sticky outy. It probably would have looked awful on.
Any good?
