because I was thinking if I was going to buy it.

Now it's out of stock.

It's past season and in the outlet, so there's no chance of me getting one again.

Aaaargh.

It's not that great a dress right?

Right?! sad((

NantucketNightbird Tue 13-Sep-16 11:07:41

It's really nice <no help> confused

Olddear Tue 13-Sep-16 11:07:55

Naw. You would've hated it on.

SleepFreeZone Tue 13-Sep-16 11:08:12

It's okay.

blowmybarnacles Tue 13-Sep-16 11:09:46

Save a search on eBay, it might come up?

HitsAndMrs Tue 13-Sep-16 11:10:06

Yeah, disgusting ... Where is it from so I can avoid it grin

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:10:52

Aussie brand Alannah Hill

KoalaDownUnder Tue 13-Sep-16 11:13:31

There is an Alannah Hill outlet store in Watertown (Perth). If you know the name of the style, you could phone them and see if they have it in stock? (Long shot but who knows.)

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:18:44

Koala -

Yeah, the name is "You make my dreams" dress.

It's not in Clearitonline though. That's the outlet store of Alannah Hill right?

MyKingdomForBrie Tue 13-Sep-16 11:19:57

I don't like the top at all to be honest. Are you stick thin? Else I'm not sure it'd be nice on.

Tiggeryoubastard Tue 13-Sep-16 11:20:54

That's a fugly dress. Far too little girly. Think you dodged a bullet.

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:23:30

MyKingdom - definitely not stick thin!

SuckingEggs Tue 13-Sep-16 11:35:30

Hmm, it's OK but not a showstopper.

OiWithThePoodlesAlready Tue 13-Sep-16 11:39:09

If you have any boobs at all the top part would look terrible I think.

whywonthedgehogssharethehedge Tue 13-Sep-16 11:40:26

Yep that's not going to look good with curves. I'm in dodged a bullet camp.

HalfStar Tue 13-Sep-16 11:40:44

Doesn't do it for me at all, but I totally feel your pain as something I'd been stalking for weeks sold out just as I decided to buy it today. I am stewing hmm

KoalaDownUnder Tue 13-Sep-16 11:41:20

Try: shop.alannahhill.com.au

Here are some sale dresses that are similar to yours:

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:42:21

I'm flat chested. Not slim at all, but has a straight body - no curves.

Anyway, also telling myself my massive arms won't look good in that dress!

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:43:05

Koala -

Too expensive for me. That dress was just $89 on sale. sad

KoalaDownUnder Tue 13-Sep-16 11:43:52

My colleague is really quite curvy (not overweight, but solid bum and slim waist, not straight-up-and-down) wears a lot of Alannah Hill. She looks amazing in it.

She doesn't have big boobs, admittedly.

PovertyPain Tue 13-Sep-16 11:44:50

It reminds me of the dresses my mother made from us when were kids. They weren't nice then and I'm sorry, but that's not nice. but then I'm no spring chicken, so may be a tad unfashionable

KoalaDownUnder Tue 13-Sep-16 11:45:07

Oh bugger. sad

(Btw, are they owned by same parent company as Review? V similar aesthetic, I've just realised.)

CoolToned Tue 13-Sep-16 11:46:41

Koala - I don't think so, but I noticed the resemblance. Only Review uses a lot more polyester than Alannah. Alannah is under the same company as Revival, Princess Highway, Dangerfield.

CandyMcJingles Tue 13-Sep-16 11:47:16

That dress looks hard to wear. Too high necked, too short, too sticky outy. It probably would have looked awful on.
Any good?

PovertyPain Tue 13-Sep-16 11:47:30

Yup, my memory wasn't playing tricks on me.
