'You look tired'...

How do I fix this?! Comment from a friend last week...I'm 35, have 2 DSs under 5, probably drink a bit too much fizz but have lost 3 stone on SW...currently at home with the kids so tend have a boring practical wardrobe of leggings/tunics/chinos/tops & no money to get hair/nails done. I do cleanse/tone/moisturise with Nuxe stuff...what else can I do?!

Are you tired? I'm guessing yes with two under five. Not a lot you can do really except try to get lie ins and naps at weekends when you can.

Blusher and eyebrow pencil.

It's probably the weight loss (well done btw!) resulting in a bit of volume loss in your face that can make it look sunken in. A bit of hyaluronic acid might get you to a happy medium. Can't vouch for this product yet as the brand has only been released very recently but the parent company is ace; The Ordinary HA 2% + B5, v. low priced and free shipping. Use AM & PM before moisturiser.

Put the kids up for adoption or, if you've already become attached, Nars Orgams blusher or the lovely knock off Sleek make.

Eyelash curlers, waterproof mascara & a natural tawny blusher.

Fake tan, good foundation, bronzer, and blusher! Worked miracles for me! I was forever being told that I looked tired, but now I get told I look well. Downside is that I now can't leave the house without it all Blush

Touche Eclat. Comes with my personal insomniac guarantee.

...or the boots (much cheaper) version of Touche Eclat is pretty good, there is always some offer or other on which makes it cheap. I never go out without it on.

and drink lots (herb tea/water).

You probably are tired.

Are you happy? If you're happy then sod her. If you're not happy a bit of blusher will do.

Multivitamins (with iron) and avocado..... (Decent natural oils added to your diet - like fish and tahini are brilliant.)

Sleep more, drink less, new friends.

If you've lost weight have you updated your wardrobe to smaller clothes. A friend looked gaunt when she first lost her baby weight but once she started wearing more clothes that fitted her new shape she looked amazing.

I have a toddler, work long hours and looked grey with exhaustion. A few months ago I decided enough was enough and started taking action.

I highly recommend Spatone taken with Berroca (or effervescent vitamin C) every morning, Sarah Chapman facial massager gadget morning and night, sheet masks (Superdrug sell some nice ones or proper Korean masks via eBay) twice a week then a decent under eye concealer and curling my eyelashes even if no other make up.

Becca by Jackyn Hill highlighter in Champagne pop- though was a gimmick but this product has been life changing for me in terms of skin looking 'fresh' (need to apply carefully to avoid wrinkles in my case).

As others have said, fake tan / bronzer works wonders too.

In terms of quick fixes - Do your eyebrows (makes a big difference), good mascara, eyeliner, blusher. A long dangly necklace (one you can chuck on with everything) will make you look like you've made more effort.

But I wouldn't worry too much. In a couple of years' time you'll look better (I hope - I'm in the same phase!)

Mrs good to find another fan. I was cynical to start with as it seemed a bit gimmicky but it feels amazing and it has made a difference. I probably use it too often as it is so relaxing.

Collection concealer under your eyes, costs about four quid and is really brilliant! A shimmery eyeshadow and mascara and some pink blusher. Always makes me look better!
