what didrikson coat shall I get?

I am so confused, please help me!

I desperately need a new winter coat, and have been struggling to find one I like anywhere. I normally buy in a high street shop, but just don't like the fashion at the moment, and also find the odd one I do like to be to thin and not warm enough.

I have come across Didriksons coats (from another thread) and for practical-type coats, they look quite stylish. I love the idea of not being cold and wet! And the prices are not too bad.

But, I am so confused: there are so many different styles. Some of them I think are more raincoats, than warm winter coats, but its not obvious, and every time I go online to look, I find more and more styles and now its all a big foggy mess in my head.

I want something longish, and I like:
Thelma:

and
Edit:

But can anyone comment on whether these are just rain coats, or warm lined winter coats? Can anyone suggest other styles? My budget is £150 max

Also, I am a 14-16, but not sure how the sizes fit?

Thanks.

I don't think either are the very warm coats, more Autumn/Spring

How about the Whitney Here

Viking kids also has some lovely Skogstad ones too and 25% sale stock (I don't work there just where I've bought coats from before)

Size down as well as the didriksons come up big

I've got the Thelma. It's not lined so unless you layer up under it you'd get chilly in the winter, I've got one of those super thin down jackets that goes underneath it nicely. To be honest it's not the most attractive coat and I feel a total frump when I wear it but I consider it worth it because I have a half hour walk each way for the school run and live in very rainy Glasgow. Dd has a child version and it's much nicer than mine!

I find the sizing pretty much true to size. I've got a 10 which is the same as pretty much all my coats and jumpers. I think they recently updated their sizing so they run a lot smaller than they used to.

You can find the warmth level on their own site under features listed. If you are a 14 to 16, I suggest a 42 (I'm a 14 and wear 40).

I've got the Angelina, I think the Siri is this year's equivalent. I don't feel as nice as it looks in the picture, but it is warm.

Argh! I have spent so long looking at them all. Finally decided on an Angelina, because I like the pockets, it comes in red, and it doesn't seem too padded. But its an old model and is now discontinued. I cannot get it in my size/colour.

The Siri looks nice, but is too short. I think the Lina replaces the Angelina, but I don't like it.

So.... back to square one. Sigh.
