I have a wedding to go to next week.

I hate my legs.

Would it be wrong wear black opaque tights?

Would trousers be ridiculous?

Can I wear a midi-skirts if I have a bit of a belly?

Help!

What kind of wedding is it? I'm going to a wedding next week in a field, would definitely look ridiculous in black tights! But a hotel wedding, may be okay. It is supposed to warm up again next week though.

What is your shape/size and what colours do you like? There are some lovely tailored trousers out at the moment, so don't rule them out.

Registry office, then wandering around in woods for hours for photos/drinks and canapes and then evening reception.

I think it'll be dry and warmish, but I don't think I could float around in a maxi dress in the middle of town with out feeling silly and slightly cold.

What to people do about keeping warm at weddings? Confused

I've recently put on weight, so need to buy something as none of my dresses fit anyway. I'm a 14, and was pretty evenly shaped, but most the weight seems to have gone on my belly - I have bought big hold it in pants, but there is only so much they can do!

It's forecast 3 days of really warm weather so check the forecast where you are!

I think it is a bit too early, sorry. And yes, due to be good spells of sunshine next week. Nude tights?

I think black opaques would draw more attention to your legs rather than less, as it's unlikely others would be wearing them. A decent pair of nude tights is perfectly acceptable though.

I agree.

Ok- I'll try to make my legs look as presentable as possible in nude rights.

Are there any dresses out there which would hide my belly and preferably knees?

It's too early for opaques.
Lots of midi dresses and skirts around at the moment which I find easier to wear without tights.

I've been wearing 40 denier tights all week. In work with a dress or today with a denim skirt. Also wearing a cardi and a scarf. It is sunny but the wind is chilly. Haven't been wearing black ones, but onlky because navy or grey go better with my outfits.

Shift dresses tend to be great for belly hiding.

Just go to a website and put shift into the search box cos otherwise they're hard to spot.

I'd also look at the tights on ASOS. They have such a vast selection of different styles that you may find something lighter than opaques that obscures the legs a bit.
