I'm looking for somethign a bit 'bovver booty' (but not too much like DMs) to go with jersey dresses to mix up the look at bit . I'm lucky enough to work from home most days so can wear what I like. The only bit I'm not too sure about is the laces, will they annoy me?I'm not used to boots with laces.

Can you tie your own shoelaces?
I'm sure they won't bother you after a while, you might appreciate the fact that you can tighten them up.

I lived in victorian-style granny boots when I was a student - several hooks to lace; they looked so good (IMHO) that it was worth it.

I think I was taught how to tie my shoelaces when I was a child, it was a long time ago! Now, keeping them from becoming untied, that's a different matter.

I have ordered the boots to try, they fit well and although I originally ordered in petrol (teal) they have sent me green, which I now think I prefer. I do love boots - especially coloured ones. Makes me feel all autumny!

They're not my usual style but I saw them on someone with a long black tight skirt and they looked really good.

Not keen on the green boots at all. I know I'm definitely in the minority here! They remind me of something you'd wear as part of a steampunk costume.

Well, I have decided the boots are a keeper! They have grown on me. Although I didn't order the green colour, I ordered teal, I actually quite like them now. Also they are really comfy and fit well straight away which is a sign I should keep them I think. Also they are RRP £125 and selling for well over £100 on amazon and ebay now, so I reckon I got a bargain!
