Just wondering if anyone would be brave enough to post a picture of their wardrobe with the doors open?
Is it crammed full of clothes, minimalist, all the same colours or a mix.
Do you have a ridiculous amount of clothes or hardly any?
I don't want to be the first to post as I'm not sure if I have a lot of clothes compared to others or not as many!
Anyone???

No camera currently, so can't do a picture, sorry. Mine is one rail - pretty tidy but v v black! It's almost entirely black and grey with v small flashes of burgundy, purple and hot pink. I do have another rail, but that's the messy one!

Here's mine Smile
I try to do a version of project 333 so have much less than I used to. But it does look a bit drab in this light...

The first picture is of my September onwards wardrobe. The second is including summer/warmer weather clothes & some workwear etc.

I can't take a pic at the moment as DH is in bed and wouldn't appreciate it 😂 But I think mine is quite colourful, not got loads of stuff though, a lot of it is dresses that I don't get to wear as the weather is shite but I love dresses!

I also own vest tops in pretty much every colour, I love a vest top, they go with everything

Sorry but absolutely no way. You'd send someone from Channel 4 to film it and shout at me.

I will in a couple of hours, once DH is out of bed so he can't give me a Hmm look. or tell me to get off bloody Mumsnet.

I did a de-clutter yesterday, but now want to finish organising it. It's still embarrassingly crammed. I'm wondering where I put all the stuff I've got rid of.

Mine is made up of navy pink red white. There is only two patterns in my whole wardrobe, a flowery skirt and a flowery dress. Does everyone have everything in their wardrobe? I'm a teacher back to school and everything l plan to wear this week is on the back of a chair.

Mine is a mess. The wardrobe is stupidly small (would be better in DD's room really) and everything is crammed in. I can't find anything in the middle bit!

My coats are shoved into the other side of OH's wardrobe.

I also have a drawer in a chest of drawers for my tops etc, again a mess and not organised in any way!

Ooh thanks everyone so far!
We have a 3 sliding door wardrobe. Dh has the left hand side, which I won't post - I have the middle bit with the drawers and the right hand side.
I don't think I am a very good shopper. I buy the majority from h&m, select, new look, and primark but I tend to buy cheap separates then struggle to put things together.
I also have a chest of drawers with underwear, nightwear and a few cardigans, and a built in cupboard downstairs for coats and shoes.

I think you need to find a few rules so that stuff does match.

So I like navy blues as my "base" instead of black.

I don't have patterned stuff for work making it easier to match stuff.

I tend to wear dresses in cooler weather, smart trousers in warmer (this is for work).

The colours which suit me - cream, warmer colours etc I will aim to buy.

My wardrobe is split across two rooms at the moment (recently moved house) and I'm on a train so can't take a pic Grin

These pictures are two years old now but most of my clothes are still the same and the storage situation definitely is. One floor to ceiling double with a rail, shelf and three drawers that roll out. Then a single wardrobe where I hang all my dresses and have pull out basket racks for bags, toiletries and running stuff.

In answer to your question, I have a lot and it's very colourful / lots of patterns. I don't really wear black but do wear a lot of blue although rarely jeans. Office job based in Hampshire countryside so no need for suits or darker colours hence the plethora of skirts, dresses and colour Smile

As I have so much there is a method; trousers far left, then tops hung in sleeve order from sleeveless to long sleeves, then skirts which I try to keep in length order from shortest to longest followed by jackets / blazers. Knitwear is folded, thicker tops, vests and scarves, jeans, shorts, PJs etc all folded too. That wardrobe is a tardis but I know instantly where everything is, only way for me to operate!

Mine is also ordered:
So - working from right to left =
Leather jackets
Jackets
Dresses
Trousers
Skirts
Plain tops
Patterned tops
Vest tops

Jumpers and jeans are folded on a shelf.

On the second rail (in another room) is all the stuff I won't need this season, or may decide to get rid of in the next cull, or want and might wear this season but not as many times as the stuff on the 'main' rail.

It's still a work in progress, but a massive improvement! The colour co-ordinated bit (navy/ grey/ cream/ white) is at one end, the rest is still chaos.
There's another half of a wardrobe with dresses in and drawers with sports gear and underwear in.

Pic 2 - riding stuff plus underwear/socks/pjs
Pic 3 - overflow. Tops, jeans and middle shelf is photoshoot wear
Top shelf just has dressing gowns, pillows so not in pic

Sorry forgot to post my own wardrobe. Not the worst but things do have a habit of getting lost in Narnia in it.

Top left dresses
Top right jackets. Bottom left trousers and jeans.
Bottom right tops and shirts.
Skirts on bottom between trews and tops

Drawers for tees, sweaters, underwear.
Belts and jewellery on hooks on back of wardrobe.

Out of season stuff in a wardrobe in another room. I regularly cull. But maybe just a few items at a time.

Here is mine. One rail for dresses, one rail for tops and one rail for trousers. I'd like to order in sleeve length/warmness, but it's ordered in colour at the moment.

Hollinghurst - 70 dresses 😨
I own less than ten for all year round!

Three winter and seven summer dresses.
Under ten skirts - again for all year round.
Two black trousers
Three harem pants
Two pairs of jeans

I certainly feel like the poor relation after reading how many garments some of you own. I guess you have to spend at least a few hundred pounds a month to build up your wardrobe like this. I spend less than £50.
