Younique make up

A few women selling this stuff on Facebook. It's pretty pricey but I'm so sucked into make-up marketing. Even when it's a woman round the corner trying to sell it. The mascara does look pretty good.

What is the general consensus here about the brand???

Personally I don't like the whole set up of younique, forever living and companies of that ilk so wouldn't purchase anything from them.

Saying that, I've never tried any of their products so couldn't comment on how good they are. But even if they were brilliant products my general feeling on the company is not good unfortunately.

I think there's a thread for these types of companies on here somewhere.

Thank you! All of my MLM 'friends' have been hidden from my Facebook news feed. But I get so sucked into looking at the younique products. I think I just like looking at make up and before/ after pictures

It's bollocks but apparently you can go on an internationally recognised Ypooooonnnnniqqqqueeee course and gain a certification in bollocks and selling bollocks to poor susceptible people.

"What is the general consensus here about the brand???"

Afraid its the same as PP.

It's a load of overpriced shite. Please don't part with your money for this crap. You can get better on the high street for a lot less ££££.

Don't play into the whole 'my FB friend is selling it so I will buy some from them".

I get the whole MLM thing being a con. I'd never buy into it. I've hidden around 5 MLM-bots already. But on a scale of quality where does it sit in the market? Rimmel? Urban decay? Dior?

I think I just need to know so I know what I'm missing!!

its nothing special, my friend sells it and I have had a look. The packaging is decent quality but I really don't rate it at all. Reminds me of Benefit but thats probably an insult to Benefit.

I got bought the foundation. It was high pigment but really sticky. Can't think of a better word to describe it. It was impossible to blend and rub in. Felt like wearing clay mask all day. Horrible. Although the very pale shade suits my alabaster skin tone.

Well put it this way if I was going to spend 24 quid on mascara I'd buy either 1 Dior one, or 12 natural collection ones rather than a Younique one. It was shite.

I "won" an eyeliner off a friend who was selling it. I was pleasantly surprised as I was almost out of my usual felt tip liner. It got binned about a week later because, again, it was shite.

Tellingly, the three friends who joined this "life-changing" company have quietly given up on it.

Don't bother with it and please please don't waste your money.

My sister bought a load of it from a work colleague. She'd have gotten the same quality down the market for significantly cheaper.
