I have a wedding in October and need to buy a dress and am looking for something lovely and feminine that I don't normally get chance to wear... can you help me find something?

I'm a size 18 with big boobs so high necks make me look huge and I hate my knees Sad

Mint Velvet do size 18 and usually have some lovely dresses that are perfect for a wedding

My dsis is a size 18 and looked beautiful at my dbro's wedding recently. I will try to find a pic of her dress.

I'm a size 18 as well and think that first ASOS one is beautiful and very flattering. As for the Simply Be Lace monstrosity, not sure why anyone would think that was lovely/flattering for anyone.

The pink Asos one is beautiful. Think the burgundy Asos could be a bit too booby?!

As for that hideous red Simply Be catastrophe - it would make me look like a barrel and I'm a size 8 or 10. Truly horrible dress!

Could I also go slightly off piste and suggest an Asos Curve jumpsuit? With heels and some fab jewellery, I've seen these look INCREDIBLE on plus size women.

Like maybe this one (currently in the sale) with sparkly shoes and bag?

I do love that Asos dress herecomesthesun linked to, though.

I agree about the burgundy one being a bit "booby" running

Studio 8 do some really nice dresses - they're the plus sized offshoot of Coast (I think! Or somebody like them...). So they have the nice dresses but designed and cut for the larger figure from the outset.

I went to a wedding in the summer and wanted to wear one of their dresses that I found on the sale - it was lovely fabric, really comfy, didn't crease, nice colours, flattering cut etc etc - would have been fantastic but I could only get it in the size too big or too small so reluctantly gave it a miss.

Definitely worth checking them out - and the end of summer stuff is now on sale so you might get a bargain!

Ha just looked again at the burgundy one and my boobs would be all over the place Grin but it's a lovely dress.

I love that jumpsuit but it's not available in my size Sad would be perfect for the evening

Is the pink asos dress bit a bit shiny for a big girl like me? I love the style though

I like the blue coast one too

Try lindybop, lots of 50s style pretty swing dresses which can be worn with or without petticoat. As a size 18 with big boobs I buy their v neck and sweetheart neckline belted waist dresses for most occasions.

I don't know if black lace is suitable for a wedding but I love this one.

Sorry, just seen you want something longer. The pink asos dress herecomesthesun suggested is beautiful.
